Rated 1 out of 5Â by Adnamhain Shoddy Construction = Poor Tools
This LOOKS like a nice hobby weight band saw, but shoddy construction kills what could have been a great tool.
-Lower Blade guide snapped off when lightly tightening the hex bolt.
-Table adjustment will not lock off the table no matter how much you tighten the handle, resulting in a table that "see-saws" when trying to work on it.
-I've tensioned many a band saw blade in my time, but the tension and alignment knobs on this machine feel rough, hard to turn, and overall ineffective. I have still not gotten the blade tensioned correctly.
-Hex bolts on the blade guides do not tighten enough, allowing the blade guides to wobble in their sockets.
I had high hopes for this machine, but am now wishing i went with the cheper Ryobi. If you want a machine that was put together well with quality parts, keep shopping!

The specs say 6" cutting height.Got mine today.Guess what 31/8 cutting height.I needed at least 5 so I am back to square one.Works good if you only want to saw flat but not much resaw room. Also nothing on how to set up the guides.Someone who knows just a little about saws could have some problems.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Dee2 Low power, wanders, blade breaks on turns
I'm using the band saw to cut aluminum sheet and tubing. On sheets its hard to keep straight. On square tubing, very slow to cut 1" x 1", when cutting the 1/8" wall. Broke 2 blades in 6 months. Don't try to cut a bolt, it will dull the blade.
Recommended for wood cutting. For aluminum, get more power.

The specs online say that it has a maximum length of 6" of cutting space, but it only has 3 1/8" of space!!! All i needed was 5" and now it's worthless to me!

Rated 3 out of 5Â by JoeJeff77 Nice saw but no instructions!!!
I read thru the entire owners manual (the small part in English) but no where does it sjow you haow to remove/replace the saw blade. What is up with that? An owners manual should have all the information you need to safely use and understand the product to avoid injury or damage.
I've just started using mine and may have more to add to this later, once I figure out how to use it properly! Thanks to no help from the owner's manual!
