I had to replace my 30 year old Delta Sander with this and I am disappointed. Apparently no user friendly thought went into the design of this product.

I mounted the sander on a 2' x 2' square table. i have used the sander to make a toy tractor and a peg game and it worked well. I plan to use it to make bigger projects as time permits. It worked very well. It was easy to assemble and mount and I am well satisfied with its performance. I will use it often.

Much better than sanding by hand. Takes off a lot of wood quickly for a quick touch up.

Your store was the only place that carried a sander that rotated the direction I needed. Couldn't be happier.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JEL Good Value
This unit has a cast iron base so it doesn't need to be clamped down to use. Not as noisy as others I have used. Also priced this unit at two other stores and it was twice as much than at Home Depot!! Free shipping right to my door step. Very good value.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TechSpec Works quite nicely
The machine has only had limited use, but intense use, sanding slats for a small table top.
Set up was simple and "Squaring up" the unit's fences was very easy. The set up only took a few minutes, and it was ready to go. Once placed into service, the included sanding belt and disk removed material very efficiently.
An adaptor had to be sourced to mate the machine to the shop vacuum, but when all connected the dust collection worked well.
The only "Con" on construction quality is the number of plastic parts that could have been metal. That being said, the plastic parts did not diminish the machine's abilities and the unit stayed in place while in use.
So far, money well spent.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wilfred A Great Small Belt/Disc Sander
This is a great little belt/disc sander if you don't have a lot of space or money. Though small, it is solidly built and heavy enough to not walk off a work table. I've worked with soft/hard wood making signs, cabinets, selves, etc. The sanding belts/discs are readily available in a # grits. BUT, let the tool do the work or you'll end up replacing the miter drive belt. The good news is that drive belts and pulleys are readily available on line. I highly recommend this model and have been very satisfied in my 5+ yrs. of pretty steady use.
