The Rockwell BladeRunner X2 is a unique multi-purpose machine that combines the cutting characteristics of a table saw, jig saw, band saw and scroll saw all into one incredibly easy-to-use and versatile tool. The BladeRunner X2 is always ready when you are; stop spending more time setting up to make a cut than actually cutting. Just flip on the switch and you are in business. The BladeRunner X2 is designed to be your own personal workstation with its stainless steel table construction. Change Blades in Seconds. Customer Questions & Answers

why does it chatter so much cutting 1 inch pine??

Asked by: waco
I had the same problem when I first got it (it was super loud, lots of chatter, cuts were really slow and inaccurate) but I switched the blades to some nice quality Bosch and it's night and day - It cuts fast and smoothly with almost no chatter. Replace the blades and you should be ok.

Customer Reviews

Blade Runner X2 Portable Tabletop Saw is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 329.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well for me… I attached a 3/4" base of plywood to the Bladerunner and locked it into my Jawhorse for use. First use was to cut some steel rod into segments and then likewise some wood dowling for a home project. I think all my Rockwell products are well designed and functional and I'm happy knowing that I'll also enjoy them now, and for years to come as they're both handy to store and deploy and durable for a lasting reliability. Thanks for your fine forethought, lasting designs, and product affordability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product. Seems to have plenty of power, as currently I am using reclaimed oak for a project. An excellent addition to any woodworking shop. However I am having trouble getting the control arm to stay exactly in the position required for the current project I am working on. In all fairness I took this out of the box, assembled and started using it without reading the manual that came with it. I plan to read through the manual and perhaps this will not be a problem at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job well I bought this a month ago and have used it several times with success. My only "complaint" is the vibration and noise. I needed to cut several thin pieces of wood and could not get the feet down to hold the wood from jumping but the saw cut the slivers okay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big help in small package! i bought mine a couple of months ago and wish i had purchased it sooner. i have been doing house renovations and this has been a great help in all my projects. i have uses it in doing my wood flooring, some framing, and making my own walk-in closet organization. i like how it is portable to take anywhere i need to use it whether at home or work. i have also used it to make Christmas projects and gifts. for me the only set back was the scroll saw blade wasn't small enough to do tighter turns and thinner cuts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around tool Easy to set up, although a few more words in the instructions would have helped. This tool addresses many things I need to do around the house without having to get out heavier duty tools. Saves a a lot of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great handy tool Very pleased with what it can do. I had a problem security the blade. I watched a video on the saw and didn't see anything about pushing the red button and sliding it, just pushing the button. Didn't really want or need a scroll saw, but this saw can come close to doing the scrolling and a whole lot more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Partner for Plywood Projects this was really needed as the jigsaws I have will not cut a straight line. blades and guides heat up and the cut changes . I have needs for straight curt and at 90degrees to my board face. I was not sure about this saw but I have other Rockwell tools and am impressed. BladeRunner is no different. I cut up several sheets of plywood into 1-3/4" strips x 7-1/8" long and this saw never missed a step. my cuts are straight and the blade never drifts. after making boxes for table center pieces, this is my GO TO saw for 1/2" & 3/4" plywood. Love my new saw. cannot wait to purchase the 'sled' for my BladeRunner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice design. I bought this last year for my wife, she is crazy over it. It's lightweight makes easy for her to transport. The special compartments for the blades and guide are great. It has plenty of power and cuts straight. I highly recommend this saw.
