Product Overview

Anyone who uses a table saw or miter saw frequently will find the JawStand indispensible. This tool improves the concept of the traditional roller stand and adds extra features to create a work support stand, unmatched for the price. The low-friction slides on the top of the stand allow work to pass over it in a straight path. Traditional rollers tend to pull the work off line, away from a fence or guide, leading to inaccurate cuts. The head bevels a full 90°. Built in to the tilting head is a work clamp, capable of holding material up to 1 in. wide. The Jawstand does a great job at holding a door in place for hanging, or using a 2 x 4 brace to support crown molding while hanging it. The JawStand is more than just a stand it is an extra hand.

  • Compact and portable holding, clamping and supporting work stand
  • Low friction slides feed work in a straight path
  • Built-in clamp acts as a second set of hands
  • Bubble indicator for leveling
  • Completely portable and easy to store
  • Head bevels a full 90°

JawStand is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I got two! I was looking for a new saw horse, but I got this instead. I have a bad back and since I can raise this to any level I got two instead of a regular saw horse. This is much better than any saw horse I had before, it does not tip over. In addition the clamps help when working with some heavy wood that needs cut. I'm looking to use it to hold items while installing them. My wife does not want to help hold up my projects anymore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great idea that mostly comes through This is well designed and a great idea. It is very sturdy, well built. I have two complaints, however. They put plastic knobs on their tools to tighten things instead of metal handles. The biggest issue for me is that the vise is a very small clamping mechanism that has very limited use. I wish they would charge a bit more and put a real vise on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for many things My wife saw these on display an told me that we needed to get a pair of them. Am I ever glad we did whenever we are working with long wood we use them for extra support, third hands, or to just hold boards together. I do wish that jaw clamp was a little more substantial but it does work well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Useful helper! This a very useful piece of equipment. It took the place of needing a helper when working with large projects.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product with grat features. I bought two of these one for each side of my compound miter saw and my table saw. They are so easy to set up and store away.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Caution: Will mark up wooden doors! The JawStand is a great third hand if you are trying to cut a long piece of wood on a table saw or miter saw. However, if you use the clamp portion of the JawStand, be aware of the fact that the plastic protector pads inside the jaws of the clamp are not thick enough to keep the metal frame from damaging any fine wood pieces, such as a door, that you might place in the clamp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Helper Excellent quality sturdy and fully adjustable. There is a small clamp in the jaws to hold the project in Place. Wish I would have know about this a few years ago. It really would have helped me do a multiple about of task

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Rockwell product! I own several Rockwell tools and the JawStand shares the same quality that I have grown to expect from Rockwell. I work alone and need a "third hand." The JawStand comes as close to that as possible.
