Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A blessing! This multi-blade (wood, metal, concrete) saw w/battery-operated laser, excellent safety triggers (good for beginners like me) and it's light weight, compact. You're always in control, there's no feeling like the fear of using heavy tools the first time. This is light and cuts like the heavy weights. I've had a 100% positive experience cutting brick, (tile removal w/brick cutter), wood (I haven't cut metal yet. I've had it for a few months. The only problem is the depth gauge snapped inside (I can't lock in the depth, but the adjustable depth tray works fine, still allows the blade to drop down. If there's any drawback, it would be the "battery-operated" laser - I don't like looking for batteries for a power tool. September 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Mini Circular Saw I finally used this mini circular this weekend and it performed great. Cutting through plywood was easy. I just wish it cut a little deeper so that I wouldn't have to flip over a 2x4 to complete the cut. I specifically like that it came with multiple saw blades and a carrying case for easy storage. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Another fail I bought this product thinking it would be a great addition to my box and found out the hard way that it's not built any better then the other product that I purchesed from Rockwell I was cutting a small piece of plywood for a dog box I'm building in my spare time as a side project but anyway as I plunged into the piece of wood the blade exploded not only did the blade break but the washer that holds the blade in place broke into a dozen or so pieces also so I don't believe I'll be buying anymore of there tools dry to down these products but this was just my experiences with Rockwell tools August 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My Absolute favorite tool I have owned the "Versacut" for about a year now, used it for my kitchen remodel, I use it for everything. Miter saw is becoming a thing of the past. Great cut and am able to control with one hand. Wonderful! September 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to use. can't see where blade is going to cut Received it for a xmas present.Have used it five times. The laser is useless. It is to hard to see the blade to start the cut. The safety release is a royal pain. It's to hard push the carriage down to a full cut. It will not cut a 2X4. September 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 75 year old father in laws loves this saw! I bought this saw for my 75 Father-in-law 1 1/2 ago for Christmas. What do you buy a man that has everything? He enjoys using my husbands Rockwell tools so I thought I would get him something different of his own. Never did I dream it would become a go-to tool for him. We are building a large addition to our home and it has been so handy in all the trim work he and my husband have made. He used it when installing our tongue and groove pine ceiling. We are installing mission style trim through out and he and my husband have fabricated all of it with a little help from this wonderful saw. He just told me again this morning how much he enjoys it and asked for more blades for his birthday! July 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by One problem with it Love the saw but have snapped 2 of the bolts that hold the blade Rockwell replaced the first one and hope they can replace the 2nd. Have it at a machine shop getting the broken bolt out. I am a true Rockwell fan. Have 5 drills and a sonicrafter . August 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great saw! I purchased the Rockwell Versacut a month ago. Since then I've used it several times doing various jobs around my home. The saw is well built and very easy to use! It is my go to saw now, thanks Rockwell for a very useful and durable power too, it is so much more than just a saw! August 12, 2015
