Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by remodel guy Pretty darn good!
Read some other reviews that had hesitations about this saw. I decided to go with it because the Dremel just didn't seem to be as good. This is a great tool. Have no problem pushing it down to cut with the depth selector. Cuts very precise and easy to control. Have used wood and metal blades and both good. Definitely a handy extra tool to have around. Negative would be that I wish the metal guard was easily removable because sometimes you just need to see the end of the blade to make the right cuts. The laser is not connected to the spinning of the blade. It just turns on and off which makes it easy to forget to turn it off and run down the batteries. Comes with a vacuum adapter which works quite well to keep dust down, but it falls off way too easily. 3 negatives but the positives will make this a go-to tool in my arsenal.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Restoration guy This saw is fantastic!!!!
I work in the restoration industry which requires a lot of demolition. This thing is excellent for cutting drywall around entire basements instead of using old school methods. It saves us a ridiculous amount of time. We've had no problems with cutting through hardwood floors, laminate wood floors or ceramic and porcelain tile either. The laser guide is perfect for keeping our cuts straight and on our chalk lines. As an added bonus since we deal with mold on a regular basis we can hook our HEPA vacuum directly to the saw which traps about 90% of the dust and mold spores as we cut; very important in my industry. Only thing I would change is a laser that ran off the electricity instead of batteries. Our guys have a habit of leaving it on and burning through batteries like crazy.

Since i do not do major construction, pretty much small house projects, this is the perfect tool, convenience and easy access (small but very powerful tool).

All in all this is a good tool. I've used it mostly for plunge cuts through floors and trimming. I have no complaints about the operation of the saw. I recommend the saw with the caution below.
I have only one concern with the saw, the arbor size. It is impossible to find saw blades for this saw that are not OEM. The blades are expensive and the selection for types of blades is small example not 40 tooth carbide blade useful for cutting Formica. Don't see why this could not have had a more standard arbor size.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bandolero A blessing!
This multi-blade (wood, metal, concrete) saw w/battery-operated laser, excellent safety triggers (good for beginners like me) and it's light weight, compact. You're always in control, there's no feeling like the fear of using heavy tools the first time. This is light and cuts like the heavy weights. I've had a 100% positive experience cutting brick, (tile removal w/brick cutter), wood (I haven't cut metal yet. I've had it for a few months. The only problem is the depth gauge snapped inside (I can't lock in the depth, but the adjustable depth tray works fine, still allows the blade to drop down. If there's any drawback, it would be the "battery-operated" laser - I don't like looking for batteries for a power tool.

I have had this for almost a year. It is everything I wanted and needed. Such power, versatility, convenience and quality. I have used it on residential, commercial and craft projects. My friends are amazed by it. Just finished some shelves in my father's shop, and this was the only saw we used!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nelson cannot cut a straight line
I bought one for sale on E-Bay which was a mistake, as obviously there is something wrong with a saw that someone returned for some reason or other. I reached out to the seller (which is Rockwell but with a different company name) and they graciously sent me another saw. Unfortunately this one cuts toward the guide whereas the other one cut away from the guide. In any case I cannot make a straight cut no matter how I try to use it. This is even when I use a guide on either side so the saw cannot move away from either one. The saw just jams as it moves out of alignment. Do not buy this product if it was returned from a existing customer. The quality control must be iffy if on such a basic parameter as blade orientation is off right out of the box and, with no way to readjust it by the user it makes this a useless product that I now have two of. Anyone want to buy one cheep? How about two for the price of one?
