Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nahhee Excellent Value
Had bad old aluminum wiring to stove (50A) 60 ft run and dryer (30A) 35 ft run. Was going to buy 10-3 with ground for dryer and 8-3 with ground for stove but it was cheaper and better to buy this quantity and use for both, and have some left over for welder hi amp circuit. Bought a waterhose reel, wound this stuff on, took to attic and used old wires to pull new. Worked like a champ. The blue big box had a similar price but none in stock, HD did have it in stock nearby.

The quality of the 8-2 wire was as expected. I needed to run three separate 70' lines to my new tankless hot water heater. The correct voltage was produced even with one of the lines being spliced. I would purchase again if needed. Value was a whole lot better by the roll than buying by the foot.

I had purhased 2 wire from the local HD, then realized I needed 3 wire to keep my project up to local code. I returned the wire and found the local store did not have the 3 wire I needed. When checking online I found I could purchase exactly what I needed directly from the Home Depot online site. It was a few dollars more but well worth it with free shipping. Placed the order and it arrived in 3 days. Project Complete.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MarkusX Good Wire
This wire offers good quality copper, and a decent insulation that has a slick coating that makes it easier to pull through conduit. The insulation is fairly easy to work with even if you don't have exactly the correct wire strippers. The wire is 6 gauge so it is a little difficult to work with, especially in junction boxes, etc, where there is little room to work. Allow for extra space, larger box if necessary, etc. The ground wire is naked copper wrapped in paper.
