Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to find elsewhere My oaks need feeding but nobody has the refills. On-line delivered at store worked very well. September 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TOO SOON TO TELL It is too soon for me to tell if the feedings have positive impact. I will say however that I was pleasantly surprised at the number of fertilizer "sticks" packed into the box; many more than I anticipated. Additionally, the sticks dissolve as advertised so I believe there should be a positive benefit noted going foward. May 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by no takes to many packs to feed bigger trees. tree spikes work better May 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These fertilizer pellets breakdown and inject into the soil fast Everyone told my brother that he was going to lose his oak tree. It was looking really sick, with the leaves turning brown and still hanging on the tree. It is planted on the edge of his front yard by the drainage ditch. The city had come in and dug out the ditch which ended up cutting over 25 percent of the roots up to the trunk. The tree is approximately 35 feet tall. He paid a professional to come in and trim the upper part of the tree to help it, to no avail. I saw it about 2 months after the trimming and suggested we go to Home Depot and get the root feeder, tree and shrub fertilizer pellets and "Superthrive". We went all around the tree drip line and used both, the fertilizer and " Superthrive" in each hole. Since the tree was over half covered in brown dead leaves, I decided to use a capful of the Superthrive along with the recommended amount of fertilizer pellets in each hole we made around the dripline. I know the directions say to not use that much "Superthrive" but the tree was bad off anyway. We even used it on the side of the ditch where there was not any roots to speak of, just for good measure. My brother called me 2 weeks later and said he saw fresh green leaves starting to come out. Month later and the tree looks healthy again. May 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excelent product This root feeder is awesome. We have 50+ trees in the main yard. Been using deep root feeder 2 times a year. The trees are very healthy. The root feeder is very easy to use. October 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fertilizer I had used this type of fertilizer to feed my trees for many years with excellent results August 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Definitely a must have The Ross Root feeder fertilizer is an excellent source of nutrients for trees and shrubs and the refill packs are convenient and economical. June 24, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Feeding roots directly is faster and more efficient than ground level supplements I have been using this product for about 3 years now. Here in the South Texas heat....I root feed ALL of my Pecan and Live Oak trees. The high iron fertilizer works well for 2 of my trees that have a tendency to turn yellow without supplements. Highly recommended for folks who want to "grow" their trees at a fast rate and have a beautiful yard to boot. June 11, 2013
