Answer:
Our accessories are only tested with our tools, therefore, it is only recommended to be used with our products. This is a cutting bit and not a drilling bit.

Answer:
You can fit this into a drill. But it's not going to function in the same way, and you're not going to be able to control the depth in the same way. It will probably be very dangerous, no matter how careful you are. This is a specific but designed for a specific tool to be used in a specific way. It's very useful, but not very versatile.

Customer Reviews

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Standard Bit for Electrical Cutouts This is the bit I now use for all electrical cutouts. The thicker bit really shines in comparison to the similar 1/8" bit in doing larger controlled cutouts, such as those necessary for recessed lights. If you use the recommended technique and control with the RotoZip, which you can adequately master by yourself if you watch RotoZip's official videos on YouTube, the 1/8" bits will last much longer than if you just wing it with the spiral saw. The same technique and control will make these thicker 5/32" bits last practically forever. I'm very happy with this product and I wish I had gone from the 1/8" bits to the 5/32" bits earlier than I did. Big difference in both quality and long-haul price. September 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ideal bit for continued use 5/32 pilot point bits last 50 times longer than 1//8 in. dia. April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works well on 5/8" firewall I almost always use firewall. These cut well and did not break while cutting out windows. January 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great! This is one of the standard bits that I use with my rotozip. Either the rotozip or the makita tripper with this bit makes quick work of drywall cut outs. January 18, 2009
