I've read reviewers that say the hose is flexible and reviewers that say it is too stiff. So I thought it's a coin toss, I'll give it a try. I like it.
After using my shop vac for over a year. first let me tell you how. I would duct tape the hose to my rotozip or my palm sander and then lift the actual shop vac canister on top of a table, milk crates or boxes. let me tell you a year of that an anything may seem great.
But I really do like this. It fits well on the rotozip and extends the hose to the shop vac. It also works well on the palm sander. AND It works far much better than the jerry-rig unit I was dealing with.
I am sure my dog appreciates it as well. I have a long haired dachshund. after sanding the ceiling for 1/2 hour in the living room I stepped down from the ladder took off the "helmet' I've rigged together (ear guards, goggles and respirator) turned around and saw the drywall cloud. my poor dog was just standing there frozen in the fog, covered paw to pout in dust. He had found a way to tear up the tape on the plastic room barriers I set up so he could see what I was doing and couldn't figure out how to get back out again, stuck in the room with me he had no choice but to just stand there and wait for me to notice him. He was blinking frantically and holding his breath I am sure. Took days to clean up the house.....and him. Finally had him shaved clean and took him to the vet a few times to monitor his breathing. now he is fine.
there is no more of that now. I put on this unit and there is barely an infrequent mist if that. BIG DIFFERENCE. I am happy with this purchase.

The hose is simply too stiff to use easily. Not worth the cost.
Not worth the effort or cost to return

Very flexible and easy to maneuver tool with this vac line attached. Little to no dust got passed the bit area which made for a quick cleanup.
Must have when using the rotozip tool!!
