Answer:
Roundup contains glyphosphate, which will kill most any plant it touches, including your grass. If you want to kill only weeds and leave grass unharmed, use a product like Weed-B-Gon or Bayer Advanced which uses selective herbicides.

Does Roundup kill bees? I desperately need bees for pollinating two acres of apple trees. I am especially wary of glyphosite.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 831 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap wand. Don't waste your time. Even brand new, I spent more time fighting with the wand than actually spraying weeds. The wand just doesn't spray properly. I'll hold it over a weed and only a few drops come out with occasional partial squirts. Now, after 1 season only a tiny bit of foam comes out when it is supposed to be spraying. I've tried unclogging it with warm soap and water and all other remedies I can think of, but still no avail. I recommend just buying a proper hand pump sprayer and then mixing Roundup concentrate manually. August 8, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by it needs to be stronger.. the container and the wand both worked wonderful.. however the product needs to be stronger.. it took 3 applications to kill the weeds and grass in a 12ft by 12ft area.. it did however kill all the weeds in my driveway cracks with one application.. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Roundup w/Comfort Wand I am seeing a lot of complaints about this product, but I had no problem with the sprayer. Sprayed around the entire perimeter of my fence and around the edging in my front yard with no problem. The only thing I will do differently next time is buy the concentrated RoundUp and mix my own because I think this needs to be stronger. It worked somewhat, but the concentrate works better. Also, these reviews need more than just a yes or no recommendation. They need something in between, such as "with some reservations" or something like that. July 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Round up = Great. "Comfort Wand" = Complete Junk First off, Round Up is a great product and works just as advertised. I've been using it a very long time. However, for the first time I decided to try the automatic "comfort wand" and I am very disappointed. I'm only on my second time using it and the pump just decided to stop pumping. I tried re-priming it. I tried loosening the cap to relieve vacuum. I tried holding the jug higher than the wand... figuring maybe it would gravity feed. Nothing. I gave up and just poured the product into my old "pump by hand" Round Up container. Oh well. Lesson learned. April 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It fought The Weeds and The Weeds won I am a big RoundUp fan but this product is too diluted to be much use. I will need to spike it with some RoundUp concentrate to get it up to speed. June 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Save your money Want a better weed killer? Find a stick and shake it at the offending weeds and curse softly, you will have a better result. the wand is worthlessly dripping and 5 applications made the weak weeds droop a little. The grassy stuff turned a bit brown but everything else reacted as if it was watered. I'm sure I was more damaged than the weeds via time and frustration. June 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Comfort wand is GARBAGE Good luck on using the stupid thing, because the batteries instantly corrode and cause the product to become unusable. "Comfort wand" becomes "causer of user to pour product directly onto weeds." GARBAGE May 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not work Sprayed weeds and saw absolutely no results. Product is worthless. would get the same results if I would of used water Will never buy again. Waste of time. April 11, 2016
