Spray the weed or grass you want to kill until they are thoroughly wet. You can do this in your driveway, around fences, etc.

Answer:
Use a good Weed and Grass killer spray. Follow the instructions on the product. It will probably take more than one time this summer. Wait a while before re-spraying. The spray works better when the temperature is hot. Make sure to keep it off any plants or grass that you don't want to kill.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 154 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does NOT work as advertised Trying to kill some weeds/grass in a rock garden. Applied Round-up twice (just to be sure) and 24 hours later saw absolutely no results. Made a third and fourth application (absolutely DRENCHED everything) and after another 24 hours maybe about half of the weeds/grass were dying, all the rest were still green and happy. Spoke with a rep at Home Depot and he said the Round up in the white bottle is water based while the extended stuff in the gray bottle was oil based and should work better. Will give it a couple more days but it is disappointing that I've had to use about 90% of that huge bottle, on a pretty small area, for such meager results. Oh, for what it's worth, I had no trouble at all with the wand applicator as others have. It worked great but wish I could say the same for the product! July 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't kill a single weed! I don't like using herbicides, but I had an area with grass, ivy and wild blackberries that was severely overgrown and I thought I'd try Roundup. What a waste of time! I spend an hour carefully spraying and 4 days later you would never be able to tell where I sprayed. I tried it on several different types of weeds and not a single one died or even looks sick! Thanks for nothing Roundup! June 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not work very good Sprayed this round-up on several different types of weeds and after a few days every weed still was alive with very little damage. I can remember when Round-up was the best week killer around but like a lot of other things you buy now it has been down graded and cost more. Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer is the way to go and cost less than Round-up... May 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by waste of time and money!! I live in inland So Cal. We're in a 4 year drought. So killing a few weeds should be easy yes? Only if you pull them manually or use a different product. This product killed one species of weed and let the others thrive. Almost like I used it to fertilize them. April 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work and lable misleading The label is misleading and the product does not work .No safety tabs prior to opening therefore is not tamper proof . July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Grass is still alive I sprayed this on some grass that was growing in my garden & 3 days later the grass is still alive. Very disappointed I thought Round Up was supposed to be the best at killing unwanted grass. April 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I use once a month I tried all sort of weed killers in my rock beds and landscape. This is the best product that I have found. I used it Spring through Summer last year. It rained a lot here in Ohio so I had to spray about once a month. Spraying for an hour once a month keeps the weeds away and it's a lot better than pulling weeds. March 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of money Spray nozzle drizzled out foam (something new?). This made it very difficult to cover many weeds close together even on the wide pattern. Wasted a lot of material trying to get it on each weed. After two days the weeds were still vibrant looking so sprayed again, two days later wilting but some still looked vibrant so sprayed a third time. After a week they all looked like they were dying but still not dead. 2nd week most are dead now and I'm tired of looking at them. Have used the competitors brand in the past with very fast results. Would get my money back on this product but that would just add to the frustration. March 15, 2013
