Rated 1 out of 5Â by Hobbit0920 Worse sprayer ever purchased
I purchased this sprayer this spring, and during the first use it would not stop spraying when letting off the trigger. This was frustrating because while trying to make it stop I am accidentally spraying in the wrong direction. No matter how I adjusted it, wouldnt stop. Had to relieve the pressure from the tank to make it stop spraying. During the second use, the "relieve the pressure and repump" method caused the relief tab to break off. I eeked out one more use and now have a $20 item that takes up half my trash can.
This is the worse sprayer I have ever owned. I paid more for it because it was made in the USA. But if this is the quality of our products verses China, I will take the cheaper products from now on. It was half the price, and lasted several years.
Now the frustration of having to take the time to purchase another, and hope it works. Next purchase of a sprayer will be with metal parts, not Round up brand, and I will keep my receipt for return if not functional.
Cannot recommend this product. Home Depot, please stop carrying it and replace it on your shelf with a quality made product.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Chris Heavy Duty BUT lots of problems.
The tank and pump is heavy duty indeed but it seems that the hose construction is not so great from the inside. I keep getting little white fibers that break down and then clog the nozzle. Its a pain because then I have to take the tip off and unclog it way to often and get the herbicide on my hands. The trigger also for some reason sticks so I have to make sure to depress it the tiniest amount possible. If I pull the trigger all the way I cant get it to shut off no matter how hard I try. I end up just unscrewing the pump to relieve the pressure and taking the handle apart. Overall I am very disappointed and am going to see if I can put a different brand hose and trigger on this tank.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Salem This product is poorly built
Like many of the other reviewers of this product, I have found that it only works one time. I have purchased 3 in the last 18 months, and each time I have used it successfully once and then stored it. When I would attempt to use it again I would be unable to build up any pressure. After reading the other reviews I realize this is as good as it gets with this product. Time to try something else.

I got this handing tank sprayer when I purchased my home and also use RoundUP Extended Control concentrate in it. So this is what I do, get some warm or hot water into the tank, add about a tablespoon of liquid soap which helps the weed killer stick to the weeds, then add the RoundUP Extended Control, screw the top back on and pump it about 10 times or until I can't pump no more, then start spraying weeds. I've never had to replace the nozzle head since I've had it. I actually bought two of them, one for weeds and one for bug spray. I would recommend this tank spray to anyone who wants to save their back...lol

Due to my husband's disability, I have full responsibility of our yard upkeep. Rather than hiring all the work done, I decided to buy this sprayer to take care of my flower and vegetable gardens. I bought it in July and it no longer builds up pressure (in September). I have tried to figure out what is wrong so maybe I can buy a replacement part, but I have now decided to just forget it. The replacement part probably wouldn't work any better than the original. If you are a handy person, then you may be able to figure out how to make it work better. But if you are like me and want a durable and trouble-free product, look somewhere else. So frustrating and expensive.
