Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Weed Killer for Poison Ivy This is my go to product to get rid of poison ivy. With almost 3 acres of property including wooded areas this really takes care of the problem quickly and efficiently. A single treatment rids the area of the pesty and problem causing weed. (This review was submitted as a sweepstakes entry or is a review of free product.) January 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KILLED BAMBOO patch - yeah! After applying you should cover the area with plastic for a week or more! I have a mound of bamboo that was growing non-stop. the area was about 3 ft by 3 ft. I tried to dig it up and could not budge it. there is also a fence next to the bamboo which made removing it tough. I poured the entire bottle of this concentrate directly on the bamboo and then piece of plastic on top and secured the plastic with a few heavy rocks to keep it in place. the plastic keeps rain from diluting the concentrate and it also suffocates the bamboo. IT TOTALLY WORKED! no bamboo grew back. you could use big trash bags as the plastic covers. I left the plastic on for a few weeks just to be sure the bamboo didn't grow back. it's been a month or more and still the bamboo is dead. but I still can't dig it out of the ground. I thought the roots would be dead and easier to remove, but i'm going to keep trying periodically and hopefully over time it the roots will detach more from the ground. August 30, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Round 1 Last summer we decided to buy a house that had been sitting vacant for two years. Needless to say, the weeds and ivy had taken over everything and there was no stopping it. After a round of Roundup, our problem was solved. July 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The End for Kentucky Pokeweed In NorthEast Ohio, Portage county, Kentucky Pokeweed is about as indestructable and tenacious as they come. Root zones 3 feet deep and massive. Several treatments with Roundup, on about 600 sq. ft., got things undercontrol over a period of about two months. I judiciously applied with a one on one application with no overspray, resulting in no collateral damage. I typically hesitate to use weed killers, but RoundUp did a great, almost surgically perfect job. Thanks Scotts and I hope this wins, Dennis September 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always Works! You can buy cheaper products, but they probably won't work as well as Roundup for Poison Ivy. I live in 10 acres of woods and poison ivy is present everywhere. In most cases, one application does the trick. I have found p.i. to be hardened sometimes. When the first app. doesn't work to my satisfaction, I mix the next batch @ 9 oz. per gallon of water. That ALWAYS kills that nasty stuff. Find Roundup on sale and stock up, to help out your wallet. September 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I will buy again-but hope I don't have to! I have a large sloping wooded lot that was covered with poison ivy. I have used other (cheaper) products and only had limited success in controlling the ivy. I mixed this product according to the directions and within just a few days achieved almost total kill of the itchy green plant. A second application took care of the rest. ( I hope). It also killed the rest of the weeds (and grass), but that was the original plan. Now I have to get rid of the chiggers...and (according to the project engineer) at least one big water snake. (the smaller black snake is ok-she didn't see him). May 18, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Everything it was sprayed on has died This has been fantastic. I've used this for over 5 years to rid my yard of kudzu/poison ivy plus a numerous selection of bushes, trees, and weeds of all sorts. Sapling trees to big ferns have been sprayed and within a week or two they are dead. My neighbors don't keep their brush/kudzu/trees/vines trimmed so I use this every year to keep them all under control when they begin to encroach. This has the same active ingredients in the same amount (actually a little more than most brands except Bayer) as other brands PLUS an extra ingredient that I haven't found in any other brands. If you want to take care of ANYTHING, this is it. If just poison ivy, stick with the other brands. Great stuff. Worth every penny. May 4, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I'm here to eat my words I posted below about how much I love this stuff. Well, three months later, I now have a huge brown spot everywhere I sprayed, except for the healthy happy poison ivy plant right in the middle. The claims about "systemic" are inaccurate, and every spot I sprayed now has a poison ivy plant growing in the middle of it, with everything else dead around it. I can't believe it. All the leaves shriveled up and died, and came back two months later. I'll try again, as maybe it takes two, but several of the spots I ran over with a lawnmower are still gone, and ALL of the spots I sprayed are back. June 19, 2012
