I have browsed the internet for quite some time looking for instructions ... there isn't any on the site or on any of the packaging... I guess you have to KNOW someone that knows how to do this ... like an ancient Chinese legend passed down from generation to generation... EVEN SHAMPOO HAS INSTRUCTIONS ON IT!!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bparker great hardware - infuriating labeling
We love these metal shelving standards and brackets. They're terrific. But as for the shelves themselves, we will NEVER buy the Rubbermaid brand again. The shelves are labeled using an adhesive that extremely frustrating. Try using a razor blade or a scraper to get the label off and you'll likely damage the delicate surface. We have yet to have a label come off in one piece on the many shelves we now greatly regret purchasing. Getting them off is a needlessly time-consuming and maddening process. Come on Rubbermaid! We've purchased many plastic products (Sterlite, Hefty) where the labels are thicker and the adhesive properly formulated so they peal off with ease!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PeterD123 Inconvenient screw holes for fastening to shelf
Most brackets of this type have a way to fasten the self to it (so the shelf does not slide off and fall. Usually a screw hole near the tip. The screw holes for this bracket are really far back and require long screws. Weird ... not sure the advantage of that and certainly not as easy as it could be. No instructions included or online regarding this. The label peels off OK ... I went really slow.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by SouthernGal Not Easy To Install
The tracks were easy enough to install AFTER I bought some good drywall anchors that I could screw into the wall. The shelves are nice, and I was able to get the sticker off easily enough. However, the big problem I had was using the screws that are suppose to secure the bracket to the shelf. Both the long and short screw barely went into the shelf, and immediately came off. Right now we have the shelves just lying on the brackets until we figure out a way to permanently attache them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by chdoctor Strong and Reliable
I use this dual track system for shelving my books. I secure the rails with 2.25" masonry screws into my cinder block walls, spacing them 14-15" apart. I chose 12" deep shelves to accommodate my 3-ring binders. Otherwise, the 10" deep shelves would do for most books if you don't mind the widest ones sticking out a little. The cinder blocks will give before the shelving will. This system uses wall space better than free-standing bookcases. If I ever want to move the shelves, they'd also take up less space than a bookcase. I highly recommend Rubbermaid's dual track shelving systems for heavy storage (like books). Like my wife, they're strong and reliable.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by organizer15 Very difficult to use
I have been back and forth to Lowe's almost daily trying to get the brackets to work. I have tried 12" shelves and 16" inch shelves with the appropriate brackets. I tried wardrobe shelves and free-slide shelves, and even attempted to use a linen shelf just to see if I could get it in the brackets. I was not able to get the shelves in the brackets by myself, and even my husband had trouble with them. If I could have given them a 0 for ease of use I would have. This product claims to be easy to use, and if you look at the brochure it looks like any one can do it. I was very disappointed.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bkln Label Adhesive is ridiculoous
The amount of time and effort it takes to remove the labels is ridiculous. Even using the recommended heat/talc method recommended, it took an inordinate amount of time and effort. You need to do better.

I bought these to add a shelf in my pantry. It matched the ones already installed. I was glad they still made the same ones. They are strong and easy to install on my existing track.
