Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JesusLovesYou Right size for 12 inch common board
I purchased this bracket for living room shelving with 1x12 common boards. This bracket was just the right size, although the next size down would have probably been okay as well. Some of the stickers left some residue that wiped off with a damp paper towel. Some had some imperfections so I put them where they wouldn't be seen, but the system does its job well and is affordable.
I ordered online with in store pickup and all 15 brackets in a compact box after hand selecting the boards to be used for the shelves. The order was ready before my pickup time and it was easy to handle.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Alex The bracket side walls are poorly designed for shelving.
Use a drill bit hex screw to make the holes where you need them since using drill bits can easily slide off your target. I'm using drywall screws between the pre-made holes for my 3/4-inch wood shelves.
The most annoying part is finding the right screw length to reach your shelf through the pre-made holes or holes you're creating yourself.
The top portion of the bracket should have a flat surface to screw into the shelf, as it logically should be like for most brackets. Instead, it's flipped up-side-down to have a walled bottom and a hollow top, and finding perfect length screws is annoying since it's a slanted bottom. It's a really dumb design. Just flip it, Rubbermaid!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Curious These brackets are best for SOLID SURFACE SHELVING!
These brackets are great for using sold surface wood shelves. Unlike the brackets that came with my kit which have a lock in the back that would cant the wood shelf forward. We use wood shelf in areas like the pantry, laundry room, office and hobby room where we don't want small items or books or things slipping through the normal wire shelf. They slip in easily and the shelf sits flat on top of them. Yes the anchor hole is towards the rear so once fastened, you don't tip the shelf forward. A bit of a pain, but since I only use maybe three screws on each length or shelf, not the big a deal. And I used the wire shelf and locking brackets that came with the kit in a bedroom closet that needed more shelving so the kids would quit piling things up until they rolled off onto the floor.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Slopitch Maybe found a solution to keep shelves on brackets
Someone else installed my tracks, but they plopped the shelves on top of the brackets and left them. The shelves MUST be secured onto the track, otherwise they slide too easily. YouTube answered my prayers.
A site giving instructions for something similar mentioned double-sided foam tape as one of a few solutions. I tried it and it's quite secure. Only been a week. If I post again, it didn't work, otherwise assume this is a solution.
Use multiple short-ish pieces, cut lengthwise, taped/hooked over the sides of the bracket, so it sticks to the sides because the track itself is too thin to support needed adhesiveness over time. Of course, everything has to be clean and all tape exposed JUST prior to placing a shelf on it.
I gave it 3 stars because I was able to use it as intended, but I'd recommend something that does this without so much "creativity."

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stargazer Great Product
I needed a couple of shelves in my galley kitchen so decided on track shelving. When I purchased the tracks, I noticed the hardware package and decided to purchase it. I initially couldn't determine how the expanders were inserted and it was not described on the packet. Looked through the reviews to see if someone else had a solution. Found a comment by Rachael that described the solution. Fold the wings inward and insert into a 7/32 drilled hole. Worked perfectly and the tracks and shelves went up in no time at all.

I don't get all of the whining about the lack of instructions. I'm not the most handy of people, but it's easy to figure out. It's easy to find brackets with holes in them to anchor the shelves to the brackets. The brackets hold a good bit of weight. I put both my kids (ages 8 & 4) on the shelf to make sure it would hold.

I don't understand the reviews complaining about the lack of instructions. The installation and usage of the Twin Track system is obvious. The twin tracks have round holes at each end and spaced across the length. This is where the screws go to mount them to the wall. Like anything, it's best to screw them into wall studs. If you can't find the studs or they're inconveniently located, use any of the many styles of drywall screws instead. The brackets clip easily onto the tracks. The shelves sit on the brackets.

My husband and I spent hours putting up twin tracks in my daughters room. We wanted a wall of shelves. We finally went to put the shelf on and realized that we could not secure the "wood" shelves to the brackets. Useless waste of time. We are removing everything and returning it all. Now I will have to putty and paint a whole wall.
