Since the size was larger than my requirement, I had it cut to size by the helpful HD associate. This complementary service went a long way in recommending the product and Home Depot to my friends and contacts.
Will most certainly reach out to HD for any future requirements.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jimmy Rubbermaid 12 in. x 24 in. Black Shelf
I bought 2 of these shelves to make a lazy susan TV stand. This is supposed to be 12 x 24 but if you look at the sticker, it actually is 11.8 x 23.8. That was just a minor irritation.
It says on the add it will support up to 100 pounds. Once again, if you look at the sticker it says 50..... but it won't even support that.
I have a TV and a small stand on this shelf... total weight... about 42 pounds.
After 23 days, It's so badly bent/warped.... it's absurd.....
I really hope you can see the picture I've attached.
These shelves are made of particle board, not solid wood. You'll need to sort through them, since many of them are scratched or dinged to begin with.... invest in a black magic marker, too.
I doubt these shelves could support more than a couple blankets.....
Do not waste your money on these shelves.... bad, bad, bad !!!!!!
On the bright side, the lazy susan turntable, which I also bought at Home Depot, works fine.
Save some aggravation.... buy a real shelf, not this junk.
p.s. I did not confuse this with another product.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by kj718 Does not support weight without warping
The shelf is cheap and fairly attractive looking. I bought it to elevate a portable air conditioner so the hose reaches the window. The air conditioner weighs 53lbs. This shelf is supposed to support 50lbs per 12 inches, when properly supported. Alas, after about a week of supporting the 53lb air conditioner, the shelf has started to flex in the middle.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Benji23 Great look and feel
I just bought two of these to put side-by-side as a desk top. They are sturdy enough, and they look and feel great. Contrary to the previous reviewers, I had no trouble at all removing the sticker. Rubbermaid must have fixed the issue.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AlanC A good standard Shelf
This is particle board with a laminate they will warp if you don't support them properly
and as far as people complaining about the sticker removal If you don't know how, you shouldn't be doing any kind of construction work Heat Gun people! (or even a hair dryer)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JoseMaria Excelent quality material
I needed this to make a shelf for a DVD player and it fit perfectly - I purchased the brackets separately in the same aisle and it did not take me more than 10 minutes to have it all in place. Good quality material as it held the screws without chipping (obviously with pilot holes first).

We purchased these shelves trusting the Rubbermaid brand for great quality products. However, when it came time to putting up the shelves, the first step of removing the labels was almost impossible. We used soap and water on one and quickly found out that the outer coating is made of paper, and since the label was also paper, it was adhering much too well. The wood underneath warped and the paper coating came off so that now we will need to cover it up with contact paper to look nice.
Suggestion: Rubbermaid -- you should be using plastic or vinyl labels that don't rip when you try to take them off of the shelf!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MashmasterDave Easy neat and clean shelf!
Nice prefinished shelf. Not the most pristine finish, but nice enough. Several on the shelf were dinged up, so look through them to find a damage free one. Particle board, but fits the bill.
