Loved these shelves for my art room! I put up 4 on one wall using the tracks sold separately.

Shelves were as advertised. I might not recomend them in a garage in a humid climate as they do seem to warp a bit.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Benji23 Great look and feel
I just bought two of these to put side-by-side as a desk top. They are sturdy enough, and they look and feel great. Contrary to the previous reviewers, I had no trouble at all removing the sticker. Rubbermaid must have fixed the issue.

Despite have received reviews starting a few years ago about stickers on the shelves that don't come off easily, Home Depot hasn't solved this problem. Be prepared to spend some quality time with your hair dryer removing these stickers. Also, the online order and pick up later at the store system is a bad joke. Often, after receiving the confirmation email/text you drive to the store only to find the order is incomplete because their computer inventory system was incorrect. Instead of waiting until the order is put together by a real human, they send out the confirmation because the computer indicates the items are in stock.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jCKSON great shelf to hold plants
perfect shelf for most anything plus they have matching white hangars. had no trouble with the hard to remove label -- just turn the shelf so the label faces the floor & never to be seen again!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Darto You CAN safely remove the stick on labels
You need a blow hairdryer to remove labels.
And some time.
Takes about 2 to 4 minutes a board.
Use diluted isopropyl alcohol if any residue remains.
I bought many of these boards over 3 dozen.
Was not a big issue to remove the stickers.
If you are lazy do not buy.
Would suggest " 9.1 in. x 5.8 in. White Designer Shelf Bracket "
here at Home Depot for brackets. Because the soft, rubbery, plastic white
snap on covers, will hide the screw and hide the metal bracket with
a white color instead.
For strength, use 2 to 3 inch long #10 screws into wall studs.
2" are easier/faster, 3" are stronger. 2-1/2" good compromise.
You will want a magnetic wall stud finder.
Screws for automatic drivers are way easier, but not as strong.
For manual screw driving:
Make sure you have a long handle ratchet or flex bar and extensions if you manually drive in the screws without power. ==>And you will want to make sure those long screws have hex heads, as it takes a whole lot of torque to screw them in. Unless you drill over sized starter holes instead of drilling stronger smaller holes.

We purchased these shelves trusting the Rubbermaid brand for great quality products. However, when it came time to putting up the shelves, the first step of removing the labels was almost impossible. We used soap and water on one and quickly found out that the outer coating is made of paper, and since the label was also paper, it was adhering much too well. The wood underneath warped and the paper coating came off so that now we will need to cover it up with contact paper to look nice.
Suggestion: Rubbermaid -- you should be using plastic or vinyl labels that don't rip when you try to take them off of the shelf!

Bought some of these shelves for some garage shelving. The finish appears laminated, but discovered it is just paint over particle board when I attempted to remove the Rubbermaid label on each shelf. Only the edge is laminated. The large label will not peel off without scraping it off, or using a solvent, both of which ruin the very thin paint surface. Water won't dissolve the glue. I advise leaving the labels on or buying a better quality laminated shelf.
