I thought this would be a good solution to store photo lighting equipment outside. The equipment is not that heavy. I built the shed in about 15-20 minutes. The hinge mechanism on the doors is not a good design. The hinges float in a certain area and can easily become 'unhinged'. Once I loaded it up with the equipment, the right and left walls started bending and the hinges/hooks of the doors no longer catch the receiving area on the sides. There are all sorts of gaps in the shed as a result and it will definitely let moisture in. Anything that leans against the walls will make the walls bend. It was a waste of money and I'll probably find a new solution within the year.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nothandyenough How am I supposed to make those shelves?
If you want to store rakes and brooms, this shed is probably fine. But I wanted to use it as the picture shows, with shelves of garden stuff. I did see the fine print that says that shelves are not included. What I didn't realize until I got it home and assembled is that it doesn't accommodate rectangular shelves. In other words, if you don't have a bunch of power tools, you can't just ask the guys at Home Depot to cut you some plywood. You have to cut a length of plywood and then cut off the corners. "Shelves not included" is misleading; "shelves have to be cut and shaped to fit" is more like it. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

The shed was easy to put together, although the instructions on adding shelves were a little sparse, compared to larger sheds. We had no trouble with it over many years as it was placed into a corner against two sides of the house under the overhang. However two days ago we had a severe thunderstorm and the unit blew apart into its 7 components, despite being locked shut and containing some heavy objects. I do note the tip to anchor it to a wall but as the house is built with concrete blocks this seemed daunting. I down loaded the instructions and had it back together in 10 minutes apparently none the worse for wear.

This is the third Rubbermaid shed I've had. I built two other ones when I was married - they were much bigger. This one was great because there is no hardware whatsoever - just snap it and slide it in. I gave it 4 stars because it does leak near the front doors when it rains - the two sides have a gap where it meets the doors and rain gets in. Other than that it serves its purpose and I would recommend it.

This Rubbermaid Storage Shed Snaps together and hold in place beautifully. It is light weight makes it easy to load in my vehicle which was large enough. If vehicle is not large enough, it can be tied to the top. The shelving wedges are ready to add your own shelves. I needed this product for my long handled rake, hoe, shovel, etc. Keeps the rain out. Small enough for a small space outside or inside a garage. Easy to put together within 15 minutes and easy to clean.

I do like the shed, it was just annoying that to have to make shelves or buy them manufactured from Rubbermaid. I decided to go back to Home Depot and buy 9ft 6in of 3/4 x 91/4 poplar. I grabbed one full length and had them cut it down into four pieces 28 1/2 inches each. When I got home I used my triangle square to measure 6 1/4 on both sides of each piece of shelf. Then I marked a 45 degree cut on the two back corners so that the shelf would fit snugly in the shed on all three supports. I don't have any power tools at my apartment so I used a miter saw to cut off the corners. All together it only took about 30 to mark and cut everything. I would recommend this shed if you don't mind putting in a little DIY work.

This will be very good storage after I manage to make shelves for it. I don't understand why it did not come with shelves or at least the option to buy ready-made shelves. For those without a saw, this is not the shed for you.
