I purchased several of these containers, and, as storage goes they are great. However, the handles/latches fall off way to easily and get lost, which means you lose the ability to attach the cover to keep things in, and to more easily carry them. I went to the rubbermaid website, looked up the product, and was informed that replacement handles were not sold. Too bad. Next time, I will choose a different storage brand.

I love these storage containers for my kids toys. I have all sizes and love that they are able to get in and out of the boxes themselves. However I am very disappointed. We have 20 or so of these and 15 of them have cracked or broken. The lids are cracked and I have had to get rid of them so my kids do not get cut and I don't like that I cannot replace the lids! A few of the handles have actually cracked and broke off also. I love Rubbermaid storage and buy a lot of it, but am very disappointed that these have not held up better.

I had high hopes for these totes, I have used the Roughneck Storage Boxes for years and needed some clear boxes that we could store gear in. I bought 20 various sizes of these. The lids, locking handles, or bottoms broke on all of the big ones, ALL of them. I had hoped that these were of the same high quality and durability as the Roughneck Storage Boxes. I wish they came in a clear, problem solved! The smaller boxes are fine, they did not have much in them and work well, but the big ones are a failed experiment.

I went to my local KMart and purchased 4 of these to store my yarn, as I am an avid knitter. I had to search high and low for the matching lids, I finally found them and went home and organized my yarns. I went back to the store and purchased two more boxes a few weeks later. I just grabbed some lids and went home. A few weeks after that, I utilized one of the boxes and tried to use the lid, but realized it wasn't the correct size, nor was it even the same brand. I went back to the store to get the correct lids, but the store did not have lids for them, and they couldn't just order them for me as the "computer" will only order items when they have four left on the shelf. I also found out that lids don't always come with the shipments, what is up with that? These boxes are designed for lids and the store doesn't always stock them? I do like the product, but wish I could finish packing and storing my yarn so I can clean up the room I've had it stored in. Rubbermaid, can you help me?

I do a lot of crafts that take small parts, which need to be kept separate. I love these storage containers because they stack well, I can see what is in them without having to open them, and they are easy to carry or shift around. I used a bunch of things before these... shoeboxes, cheap dollar store containters, and more. THESE are the greatest!

I would definitely not buy this product again because the flip up handles easily break or come off.
Unfortunately, I purchased 10 of the large size and am getting rid of all of them at a garage sale. It was a costly mistake.

I love the Clever Store Basic Latch Clear Lid 30 quart boxes. I have over 60 of them. My husband built 5 oak shelving units that hold 12 boxes each (3 boxes on each shelf x 4 shelves). I use them for tax records, owners manuals, clothes, Christmas decorations, craft supplies, extra bedding, dishes, and more. They are clear so I can see what is in them. I need to take a picture.

I loved the size, shape (29 x 18 x 6), and clear lid of the 41 QT container, but the lid shattered before I could buy more containers. The only thing "stacked" on top of the container was a soft-pack containing 2 sweaters (lying flat) weighing a total of 3 lbs. Guess I won't be buying more of these. Too bad; it was attractive.
