Nothing fits together as it should. Poor material, I would never, every recommend this product to anyone. Expected much better for the price. Knowing what I know now, even if it was free I wouldn't waste my time.

This mailbox is very easy to assemble.
Only 4 parts to put together and it slides right on a 4x4 wood post. A couple of screws on each side to lock it in place and you're done.
It also has a rear door, which makes it easy to get the mail without stepping into traffic.
This is a huge improvement over our old rusty metal mailbox that wouldn't close properly at times.
Seems pretty sturdy and durable.

This mailbox requires additional materials to install and is difficult to put together. The back door broke in the first week.

It's very to assemble, it has tons of room and it's a great value for the money.
Another feature I really like is the door on either end since every time it rains here
the curb in front of the house floods and I used to have to go wading to get my mail.

my wife and I purchased this mailbox and was very pleased with the product. I preassembled the mailbox, then slide it over the treated 4x4 post. I measured down from the base of the plastic post 2 feet, then used a circular saw to cut away the excess post. using a post hole digger,I made the hole 2 feet deep, then placed the mailbox and wood post in the hole making sure the bottom of the plastic mailbox post was flush against the ground hiding any of the wood post after the installation was complete. I leveled the mailbox square in the hole to avoid leaning then added quick set concrete in the hole 3/4 of the way up, leaving room at the top to hide the concrete with some of the soil after the concrete set. assembly was easy, product well made, priced well, made in the U.S.A., and I liked that it came with a 5 year warranty. I would purchase this product again if needed.

I have installed two of these mailboxes lately and they look great. The homeowners love they way they look and how mail is accessible from the yard side.
