If you buy the yellow wringer bucket counterpart to this bucket, then yuo must buy this bucket, too -- otherwiase you've just wasted your time and money because uou're not getting that all-important separate chamber to keep your dirty water.

Having the dirty water bucket is a must have for my jobs. It really does help keep my mopping solution cleaner until I'm done. I had to replace my old one because my wringer mop bucket fell out of my vehicle and landed upside down, breaking the little latch. I've been using this system since 2007.

I was going to buy this Bucket at the Edmonton Windermere Store but it had nothing to separate the dirty water with the clean it was just a bucket.Could not buy a wringer for this bucket, for $19.00 I am sure I can buy a cheaper bucket if I just needed a pail.
This is not as advertized as what the store has.I feel Home Depot.ca should sell this bucket on line. Then I could have bought it and had what the advertisement says.

I can't imagine having to waste that much water each time the mop is wrung out. This bucket insert allows you to keep the fresh water longer and separate the dirty water. Great time saver.

In order to rinse the mop you have to drip it in the clean water then wring it into the red bucket. So now you've got clean water that is dirty and water that is wrung from the mop to the red bucket that is semi dirty. Unless there are three chambers this concept is pretty much useless. Used the red bucket once and retired it. Not worth the purchase.

Maybe I'm using it wrong but after you ring out the mop. Wipe the floor, then you need to dip it back into the water because it is rather dry and there is noting to wring out. So I dip it back into the water so i can wring it out and that is when the water gets dirty again. So your water will be dirty any way.
