Why isn't the'Dirty Water Bucket' included with the purchase of the large mop bucket?

This question is from 18 Qt. Dirty Water Bucket for 35 Qt. and 44 Qt. WaveBrake Buckets

Why would anyone sell a new mop bucket that doesn't keep the clean water separated from the dirty water? This is like me having to pay extra at the car wash so that they use 'clean' water. Having to buy a separate 'dirty water bucket' in order to use my new 'mop bucket w/ wringer' is ludicrous!!

Is this the one that locks into place on the larger bucket?

This question is from 18 Qt. Dirty Water Bucket for 35 Qt. and 44 Qt. WaveBrake Buckets

Looking at the picture, it doesn't look like it has the small black lock that secures it onto the yellow larger bucket. The lock of the one we have now broke, so I would like to make sure it has that before purchasing because if it doesn't, it's just like the one I already have.

Hi Kbalmeo,
Thank you for your question.
This model does not have a small black lock set up as a replaceable part.
Hope this helps.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A must have Having the dirty water bucket is a must have for my jobs. It really does help keep my mopping solution cleaner until I'm done. I had to replace my old one because my wringer mop bucket fell out of my vehicle and landed upside down, breaking the little latch. I've been using this system since 2007. February 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Confused I was going to buy this Bucket at the Edmonton Windermere Store but it had nothing to separate the dirty water with the clean it was just a bucket.Could not buy a wringer for this bucket, for $19.00 I am sure I can buy a cheaper bucket if I just needed a pail. This is not as advertized as what the store has.I feel Home Depot.ca should sell this bucket on line. Then I could have bought it and had what the advertisement says. January 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First time buyer for ship to store It is everything you would have thought. Excellent product. June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This should be included with the bucket!!! I can't imagine having to waste that much water each time the mop is wrung out. This bucket insert allows you to keep the fresh water longer and separate the dirty water. Great time saver. April 8, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Really Totally ineffective In order to rinse the mop you have to drip it in the clean water then wring it into the red bucket. So now you've got clean water that is dirty and water that is wrung from the mop to the red bucket that is semi dirty. Unless there are three chambers this concept is pretty much useless. Used the red bucket once and retired it. Not worth the purchase. April 2, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by does it really prevent dirty water? Maybe I'm using it wrong but after you ring out the mop. Wipe the floor, then you need to dip it back into the water because it is rather dry and there is noting to wring out. So I dip it back into the water so i can wring it out and that is when the water gets dirty again. So your water will be dirty any way. March 22, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bye bye dirty water! The bucket is perfect, I just love how my clean water is kept clean and the dirty water goes into the bucket. The price is a little high for a bucket but I'm happy. May 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Start out with some clean water in the dirty water bucket. To the people who complain about having to dip the mop in the clean water before ringing it out. Try putting some clean water in the dirty water bucket before you start. Then you have something in there to dip the mop into without contaminating the clean water side. August 6, 2012
