My cart basin is heavy, durable plastic. Yes, it has surface scratches but it's been in use for 21 years and is still completely functional. It has carried bricks, stone, trees, water, logs, cement, an injured dog, a couple of children and oh yes, lots and lots of yard debris.

I now have two of them. We bought the first one at least 30 years ago at Sam's Club for $59. I replaced one wheel that I broke hitting it with a tractor, and have replaced a tube in one wheel. They just keep going. We use them hard and frequently on our little farm, we do not baby them at all.

I answered this in my review. I rated it a one because of the longevity of the plastic pan. It failed within 2 years. At the price I paid, it should not fail that soon. See my review for more information. Here are the pictures.

I did not. I purchased this online with in-store pickup. I was happy to see it was already assembled. If you choose to have it shipped I'm pretty sure you will have to assemble it. And if you pick it off the shelf in the store, you may need to do the same.
I don't imagine it would be difficult to assemble, though.

Rubbermaid customer service has them. I called and they are 84.95 each. They are the newer style that have a semi solid tire, no pneumatic to go flat. Also if you go on Amazon, they sell one made by Marathon that is 18" instead of 20" that will fit, and its $35 each.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 138 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cart used to move restults of stump grinder I used this cart soon after purchase to haul some brush cleared out from a fence row for 6 hours. The next two uses were to haul chewed up stump residue and cart to the back yard (filled to the brim). The cart was just barely narrow enough to go through the chain link gate of the fence. The loads were very large and heavy but the cart handled the job. I used it with very heavy loads for about 4 hours each of the two days. I'd say the cart is well made. I purchased it because other carts I researched included metal parts that looked like they weren't strong enough. May 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best I could find for me I have had it about a month during which it moved about seven yards of mulch and more than a few thousand pounds of dirt bags (not the bad kind). As I feared, the tires are too narrow which causes them to sink into softer ground like the mulched areas I try to traverse. It gets nigh impossible to move the burdened cart over mulch. I looked at four wheel carts, wheelbarrows, and carts that can be moved by hand or by lawn tractor (preferred). Nothing else, including two wheel wheelbarrows, had the right combination of good reviews, decent quality, reasonable price, dumping ability, solid wheels, and pay load. I think I put up to 240 pounds in it, but it feels taxed at that weight. 160 pounds feels much better. The bottom of the pay load is low which is good for stability on hills and holding plants, but bad for putting in heavy items like bags of dirt. I have to store it outside in the shade because it is large. I will update if it fails. May 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Product works as expected. I am concerned about axel and rust. June 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gets the Job Done Just what I was looking for to haul items to bulky to carry June 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best wheel barrow made I've owned two of these and only recently had to buy a new one after mine was stolen off my trailer. They last forever, built tough, and the flat top and handle makes it a great cart to move wood, timbers, railroad ties, to the work site. We use these mostly for mulch and rock delivery. They are far superior to Corona or any other two wheel barrows, and hardware never seems to come loose. I was so glad to see Home Depot carry them as Menards quit doing so. My suggestion, spend the extra $50 for this barrow, you won't regret it. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by a most excellent tool This is my second Rubbermaid Yard Cart. I bought one "just like it" (has pneumatic tires) over 20 years ago and it still is in great shape, even after using it for many, many maximum+ loads of sand & gravel. This "updated" version is proving to be at least as good as my old one. I bought the new one because we needed a second one so that twice as many could be moving materials. By the way, if you load the material a little toward the front, lifting the handle will be almost effortless, and with the 20" wheels, pushing it around and over uneven terrain is almost easy (depending on you load and terrain). March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Your Best Yard Purchase I purchased this RubberMaid wheel barrow 21 years ago from Home Depot and it's still going strong. It's been one of my best yard purchases ! The oversized rubber wheels take on most any kind of yard terrain. Unlike traditional wheelbarrows, it's really well balanced, stable and easier on your back. It's stable tipping feature makes loading and unloading easier, especially for a woman. This wheel barrow is versatile. Ours has carried everything from trees, to an injured dog, to a full load of water and everything else you can imagine. For 21 years. With no rust, breakage or repairs on either of us. Highly recommended ! March 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product I purchased this item to help move 8 yards of dirt delivered to the front of my house into the back. Well balanced even when filled to capacity and the large wheels move easily over various types of terrain. Very durable material, easy to clean, and very stable. May 3, 2016
