Received several Brute 44 gallon containers but needed lids to be able to store outdoor wood to keep dry and bug-free. These lids fit well and work great although I felt they were a bit pricey.

Although the lid is a little more flimsy than I expected, it is a perfect fit for the garbage bin. It is designed to latch onto the bin and hopefully will prevent future losses due to wind. Color matches that of the bin perfectly.

What's there to say about a garbage can lid? I was glad to find the lid that securely fit on our garbage can after losing the original. Very nice that you can get the exact product needed shipped free to a local Home Depot (the Home Depot lady laughed out loud when she opened the box to verify the part was good and saw that it was a garbage can lid)

Needed product but should have been included with purchase of bin.

The product came to the store for a store pickup earlier than expected. Good value for replacing my missing garbage can lid otherwise I had to pay full price for both the lid and container. I've checked online to see who else sells Brute container lid and there were very few sellers. I'm glad Home Depot sold parts.

While you cannot show up at HD and buy a trash can lid you can order one on line. The lid is "Exactly" like the ones that come with the can if purchased together.

Just bought two lids yesterday. This is cheaper than buying the combined item. I don't have money to burn. I had one lid that was cracked and another disappeared after the hurricane. They were both over 30 years old. The lids are not as flexible as the container, and can crack if driven over. The reason I bought this trash can is that you can always just get the lid if you need.
