There are no end caps. Plastic cover slides over the ends of the metal track to cover it. You wouldn't want it capped.

Sorry, but they do not make end caps for the Fast Track system. However, the rails are so flat, in relationship to the wall that they are mounted on that they are nearly un-noticible.

Answer:
There are no end caps in the system but since the rails are so "flat" in aspect reatio to the wall, there should not be any issue. If you cut the rails to fit the space, there will be rough edges that will need to be filed smooth but that is the extent of the effort to get the correct size.

Answer:
The various hooks slide around easily. Some move with things on them, some have a snap lever to hold them in place. Raise the lever and the slide. Moving the rail would be basically reinstalling it.

The rack is not adjustable. Once installed, the track stays where it is screwed. The hangers can be easily moved around on the track. So whatever is hanging from them can be moved about on the track.

John,
It depends on how you define "adjustable". If you are referring to the limitless use of the Rubbermaid hooks that can be moved along the rails then the answer is a resounding Yes. If you are speaking about the length of the rail itself then you have to consider whether you can use them as they come when purchased or if you need a different size you can use a metal blade in a jigsaw or a hack saw Read More

If you are speaking about the length of the rail itself then you have to consider whether you can use them as they come when purchased or if you need a different size you can use a metal blade in a jigsaw or a hack saw and cut the rail to fit your needs.
I have had to take both actions because I was mounting the rails across one side of my garage with a utilities box in the middle of the wall. I purchased an 84" rail and two shorter rails and then cut the long rail to fit the space. Now I have a wide selection for mounting different hooks for different purposes.

Answer:
I would think so, if they are flat enough. You will need the appropriate screws and/or anchors for each material. Get self-tapping cement screws and follow the instructions. For the brick wall drill into the mortar between the bricks.

Simple answer is "Yes", all Fast Track component rails can be mounted on cement or block walls by using the special cement/block insert and screw-in combinations. Simply drill out the size hole with the appropriate drill bit and insert the slug (normally lead or other malleable metal) into the hole then insert the screw through the Track and into the slug that is in the wall. As you tighten the screw the slug is designed to conform outward into the drill hole in the wall. The holding power necessary for the Fast Track systems is "shear force" power (as in a force that is pulling downward on the screws) focused instead of "pull force" power (as in pulling away from the wall and the screws), so the size of the slug and depth of the hole/screw can be fairly shallow. 50 lbs for each hook. If you're going to approach that I'd position the hooks over studs where the rail is screwed in securely. I have a couple of fertilizer spreaders on the wall, but they don't approach 50 lbs.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
The Rubbermaid Fast Track Rails are designed to hit the maximum number of studs in any garage, which significantly increases the holding capacity. Each 48'' rail can hold up to 1750 lbs. Each 84'' rail can hold up to 2000 lbs.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No installation hardware I'm 66 years old. I think this is the first time in my life I purchased something that didn't come with the hardware necessary to install it. Why not just add the hardware and raise the price accordingly? Maybe it's just as well, the reviews on the hardware aren't very impressive. In the end, it may be a good thing, I will use my own hardware and get the rail at a cheaper price! I understand that it is mentioned on the web page that the mounting hardware is not included but I ordered this over the telephone and nothing was mentioned about it. I don't need surprises when I'm looking for a solution to a problem. Oh, and theirs a label with adhesive on the rail that say: ?Open here." Only problem is that label adhesive sticks to the actual label of instructions which also has adhesive to attach the two labels to the product. You pull off the "Open here" label and they both come off making it nearly impossible to separate the two. Who comes up with such ideas? September 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Definitely worth it! Relatively easy installation. Hooks for any need, that snap on securely. I've looked at and tried all different ways to hang my tools and equipment in my garage. This is the best system I've come across. A bit pricey, but sturdy, quality build , and very versatile. Highly recommended . October 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install with the right hardware I was initially frustrated with attempting to use the FastTrack hardware but once I decided to use Spax screws the installation was easy. I highly recommend the Spax #10 x 2" screws. The eliminate the need to drill pilot holes and I had absolutely no problem with screw heads stripping, as I did with than of he FastTrack wood screws. You will need to use separate wood screws for the wall anchors but any #10 wood screws can be used for these as they go into the wall anchors without any effort. September 25, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Meet Expectation Convenient product to store tools , brooms ... in a garage. Easy to install, solidly built, adjustable, can be modified ... Needs accessory hangers. Cost is moderate. June 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Love this organizer! I would have rated this a 5 except the hardware to hang wasn't included so I had to make a trip to the store to get screws. Instructions were vague. Ended up putting 10 screws in the studs. Very secure feeling. I have an extension ladder hanging from it. So nice to get it off the floor & out of the way. I'm going to get another and hang some of my other tools. I would definitely recommend it. January 27, 2015
