I ordered two of these along with the track system and other fixtures to organize my garage. I actually went with this system because I saw that this ladder hook could also be mounted directly to the wall. I had a 4' and an 8' ladder. The product description of "Includes hardware for wall mounting" is inaccurate. There is no hardware included. THD did try to assist and send me the missing hardware but were told by Rubbermaid that there wasn't separate hardware. That said, I could have used my own screws BUT due to the design, you can't mount flush unless rigging a spacer for the top. I'm disappointed that I need to return and buy one that can indeed be mounted directly to the wall. You can see in the image attached the issue with mounting.

Has lasted over a year in Houston's humid weather and near a salt tank without rusting or just falling apart.

The FastTrack system transformed my garage in to an organized space where I can now see everything. There is nothing on the garage floor.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jake Fast track ladder hook
Using the fasttrack system is the easiest way to organize your tool shed, etc. I bought two ladder hooks so I can put my ladder parallel the the floor, I found this to be more secure than just one hook.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Design Poor mounting rail design
While the ladder hook seems well made, the rails that support the hook have a design issue. The rails are exactly 4' long, and according to the instructions must be attached to wall studs on either end. The problem is that the mounting holes in the rail through which you are supposed to run the screws are almost an inch in from the end of the rail, which makes it pretty much impossilbe to hit a stud on both ends of the rail. The rails should have been slight longer than 4' and the mounting holes set exactly at 4'. I mounted a 2X4 to the wall and mounted the rail to the 2X4 in order to make the system work.

These just snap onto the Rubbermaid rail. You can add screws if you like but I bought 2 and have an extension ladder hanging from them and it's very secure. I would highly recommend this product.
