Rated 2.3 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not useable The wood screws in the pack were adequate. The drywall inserts were impossible to use. Rubbermaid needs to rethink the package contents. I purchased drywall inserts and wood screws separately to install further rails. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked like a charm Super easy installation using the instructions included with hardware. Everything worked as it was supposed to. Anchors were easy to install too. If you're buying Rubbermaid Fasttrack, buying these is a MUST. September 12, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap screws that strip. Anchors aren't great too. Save yourself the frustration and do not use these screws. Seriously, throw them out. I had three strip with the slightest of driving, then switched to my own screws. What did I do with the three that were half into the wall? I could have used a bit to screw into them and remove, but that would have been more frustrating. I took my "persuader" (a hammer) and whacked them sideways until the plastic cover would fit. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fasttrack Rail System Anchors I agree with other postings about the plastic wing-type anchors that came in the Fasttrack hardware pack: 1) no instructions on the package on how to prep for and use the anchor which most people haven't used before, 2) I had to drill about a 1/2 inch hole to accommodate the shoulder of the anchor. I placed the anchor in the wall, held the railing up, inserted the screw, drilled, and the anchor had no bite on the wall and immediately turned with every turn of the I have a big hole where I needed my initial starting hole...good thing I only drilled one hole and tried it first, 3) after working with the screw, the anchor, and the lack of instructions I realized the mechanics of the screws that came in the hardware pack were apparently just as bad as the mechanics of the anchors, 4) like others, I used better spare anchors and screws I had on hand and also had to go by more just to get the job done. The Fasttrack rail system is GREAT. Please put better hardware with it and clearer instructions for better results and happier customers. Thanks. April 28, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by hardware pack I gave this only one star only because of the way these people make you pay more to install what you just gotten from them. All the other things I have gotten over the years, when you buy something you get what you need to put up what you already gave your money for. But with this group you don't, you have to paid more money to install it. You don't have to buy it, but if you need something like this and this is all that is there, you got to do what you got to do. Other than this it is great and I love it, I just don't like the way they make you pay more money. July 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible screws Of the 6 screws used to put the rail up on a 2 x 6 ledger board, only one would go even close to all the way in (even though I drilled 1/8" pilot holes). I ended up using drywall screws, which went in like a charm. October 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What was needed and at the Right Price The Fasttrack System by Rubbermaid was only available for online purchase, but the hardware needed to attach it was available at Home Depot (and a few other places) at a much better price than online. It was what was needed, adequate for the job, and installation was quick. I used the pick up service at the local store---that wasn't quite up to par, but worth trying at least once more. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Junk! Bought these just for the drywall fasteners. Your supposed to squeeze them together before inserting into pilot hole. Well, 3 of the cracked and broke before I even put them in the wall. Ended up using concrete/drywall anchors I already had. April 5, 2014
