The screws are made of some cheap alloy. I needed roughly 90 for my project, I ruined more than half of what I bought. Eventually I used other similar dimension screws for indoor woodwork, made of steel, perfect, worked fine. Buying a box of 100 steel screws worked out a lots cheaper than the Rubbermaid ( made of rubber? ) worthless efforts.

The plastic toggles are garbage, weak, difficult to work with.

The wood screws in the pack were adequate. The drywall inserts were impossible to use. Rubbermaid needs to rethink the package contents. I purchased drywall inserts and wood screws separately to install further rails.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TKinVA Cheap Screws will Easily Strip
These may be the cheapest and worst made screws I have ever worked with in my entire life. They just about all stripped and would not bite into the stud I was screwing them into. The rest of the stuff was fine but the screws are easily the most important part of the entire FastTrack storage system as it holds the steel bracket on the wall to support the weight of whatever will be hung on the accessories. Spare yourself the trouble and buy some quality screws instead of throwing away your money on these as I did.

Super easy installation using the instructions included with hardware. Everything worked as it was supposed to. Anchors were easy to install too. If you're buying Rubbermaid Fasttrack, buying these is a MUST.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Toolman Fasttrack Rail System Anchors
I agree with other postings about the plastic wing-type anchors that came in the Fasttrack hardware pack: 1) no instructions on the package on how to prep for and use the anchor which most people haven't used before, 2) I had to drill about a 1/2 inch hole to accommodate the shoulder of the anchor. I placed the anchor in the wall, held the railing up, inserted the screw, drilled, and the anchor had no bite on the wall and immediately turned with every turn of the screw...now I have a big hole where I needed my initial starting hole...good thing I only drilled one hole and tried it first, 3) after working with the screw, the anchor, and the lack of instructions I realized the mechanics of the screws that came in the hardware pack were apparently just as bad as the mechanics of the anchors, 4) like others, I used better spare anchors and screws I had on hand and also had to go by more just to get the job done.
The Fasttrack rail system is GREAT. Please put better hardware with it and clearer instructions for better results and happier customers.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ticked What was needed and at the Right Price
The Fasttrack System by Rubbermaid was only available for online purchase, but the hardware needed to attach it was available at Home Depot (and a few other places) at a much better price than online. It was what was needed, adequate for the job, and installation was quick.
I used the pick up service at the local store---that wasn't quite up to par, but worth trying at least once more.

I gave this only one star only because of the way these people make you pay more to install what you just gotten from them. All the other things I have gotten over the years, when you buy something you get what you need to put up what you already gave your money for. But with this group you don't, you have to paid more money to install it. You don't have to buy it, but if you need something like this and this is all that is there, you got to do what you got to do. Other than this it is great and I love it, I just don't like the way they make you pay more money.
