Black Round Trash Can with Lid, I have not had these cans very long but they appear to be decent quality. Appears a little thin maybe too thin which may mean will not last long. The lids lock securely on the cans with minimal pressure. I like them but not sure how long will last with Sanitation using as their play toys. I rated 4 stars due to the light feel of the wall thickness which may reduce wear time.

Light weight, easy to move, right size and can be moved from one place to a another. The lid has good seal, so can be placed close to your house without the issue of any bad odor. I am using this as a compost basket rather than trash can so that I can close it if needed during rain.

These are great for the price, So good if fact that when I put them out for the first time on the curb in Redondo Beach for pick-up, Athens Services just took the new trashcans and dropped them in their trash truck, brand new cans and all, I came home to three missing cans and a neighbors security cam footage showing them haul them away in their truck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is TRASH! (pun intended) I own over a dozen of the older model Roughneck trash cans. I've had some for 10 years. Unlike the older models, these new models are not UV resistant. Consequently, if you store them outdoors (and you live in a sunny climate) these start breaking down after about a year (like mine are). They start cracking; handles bust off, etc. I suspect that production costs started moving too high with the old containers and they didn't want to pass the costs on to the consumer. I can assure you that these cheap containers end up being 5-10 times as expensive and are a LOT less green.

This new design is much lower quality. Plastic is thinner, and lid doesn't fit tightly. Looks like the original "Roughneck" trash cans are now called "heavy duty". This is the cheap, light-weight, version. Of course, there is the "Brute", but those are a bit priced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for light duty use There is a reason why Brute barrrels are more expensive than these. As such, you shouldn't expect to use this for heavy duty storage. Stuffing trash or other debris into it, because the sides are thin and flexible, will damage it. It is perfectly fine, though, for light-medium use.
