Why is the on-line 2-pk priced higher than the on-line cost of 2 on-line individual ones?

The on-line cost of a 2-pk is $30.97. The on-line individual cost is $15.47 (2 x $15.47=$30.94). Why is the on-line national average costs not the same or slightly discounted for buying a 2-pk?
Asked by: PapaBob
The cost on-line is a little higher, however free shipping was included, therefore, the on-line national average cost is less.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from To cheap. Very flimsy and lid falls off Got as a replacement and hate them. Lid doesn't seal well flys can get in the can. Lid falls off just carrying tha trash to the curb. If the can is to heavy the can is so thin it will buckle and pinch. Not like the old ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Lids for the pail are horrible. The worst pail I ever bought. Quite a few of my neighbors who have this pail have the same problem. Poor quality. Very flimsy lids that don't stay on the pail in strong wind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly made product The 32 gallon trash can is made of a new unforgiving type of plastic that is brittle and is not that strong. The can quickly got dented and cracked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NICE CAN FOR THE MONEY I have had roughneck cans some years ago. It seems to me the new can is much lighter and the material thinner than its predecessor. On the old cans I was able to spray paint my house number and it stayed for years. The new cans seem to be made of a different type of material. The paint just flaked off. It is much more shiny and smooth. I will try something else about the numbers. That being said they are lighter in weight it is better because I am approaching 70. It remains to be seen how they will hold up but my gut says they will. If I knew they would hold up well I would have given fives instead of fours. I do like them and the lids snap on very well. I guess time will tell if I made a good purchase, hopefully I did because I purchased eight of them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cans will stand up well I purchased 3 containers 4 years ago to replace my 25 year old Rubbermaid ones. I designed a fastening system that keeps the lid from getting lost from aircraft grade steel wire . The cans stand up well but not so for the lids. But don't over react if you have this situation. Call customer service if you have a problem. They were very helpful in getting me replacement lids.
