What are the dimensions for the clips? Are they compatible with Prime Line's Lock Style Brass Plated Metal Shelf Brackets?
Asked by: Ricksan
Most clips like this are a standard size. These clips work with Knape and Vogt shelf standards. They are not 4"x3"x1" - that is the size of the bag that the clips come in. I would have thought Rubbermaid would know their own products better than that...

How much weight can be supported?

If you have 4 of these on a shelf, how much weight can be supported by them roughly? 20, 50, 100#?
Asked by: Seedguy
I am using the E5 72 in. Zinc Upright support with these clips. Each clip is rated at 25 pounds so with 4 clips per shelf it should hold up to 100 pounds. It is also important how well you secure these rails to the wall.

What do you call the bracket these clips go into?

Asked by: Anonymous
Can you please provide the specific name of the bracket system (strips) that these clips fit into? I can not find them on HD.com under the name or info that you have given in the previous answer. Are they even still available at HD?

My father, a retired cabinet-maker and carpentry teacher, taught me 30 years ago that these are the BEST shelf clips to use period. So much better than the kinds that pop in with a round peg. Sturdier, hold more weight, and never fall out. Can't understand why people still buy the other kind.
