Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AM great product. Hoping that it lasts.
i used it to paint/restore aging fence (60 feet). Product is as described. Finished product looks better than new. Paint is much thinner than regular paints and its the reason why it is messy to work with. There is no question, that your clothes will get dirty. There will be frequent drippings so better prepare the area if needed. Paint dries within 2 hrs. It took 2 people to finish 60 feet of fence in 4 hrs. For best affect, you will need 2 coats and careful inspection of entire fence, since it is very easy to miss and area. Also, both sides of fence will need to be painted. Final thought, i only used half of gal paint for 2 coats of my fence. This will give you an idea of how much will be needed.

So far, I only painted 165 feet of chain link fence, on both sides. I used a brush for the poles and the top rails and used a very deep nap paint roller for the chain link. The paint went on easy and covered most area's on just one stroke. If you go slowly on the chain link fence with the roller you will get a minimum of spray. (You will get some splash, so I used a pole and made sure I was wearing shoes and clothes that i can throw away when i am finished.) Product did better than I expected. Without primer. By the way fence is 38 years old.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike125 Good product and results look great
This is a good product that covers very well and is fairly easy to apply. It is very thin and tends to splash so you must be very careful near other structures or pavement and be sure to go all out preparing the area with tarps. But the product application went fairly quick and smooth and resulted in a great coverage and a great looking fence. I recommend a guy on each side with rollers, only 1 needs a paint tray and swap rollers once in awhile to keep both wet. Then brush rails, posts, etc. Just don't forget the tarps!

First let me second all those who noted that this is messy work because it is! However, the paint did a great job and for less than $50 and a few hours time I have a fence that now looks brand new! The paint is incredibly thin and goes on like water but covers very well. I painted all the poles and rails first and then rolled the chain link. Slow and steady is definitely the way to go here. Trying to hurry the job will just make things worse. Make sure you have plenty of paint thinner on hand for the cleanup!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rocky Made the fence look brighter and better looking than new.
This paint is excellent in covering the majority, over 70%, of the chain link fence, as the long nap roller advertizes. I still needed to roll both sides of the fence to insure complete coverage. I used a recommended cheaper, throw away, brush for the hard to get tops and bottoms of the fence and piping. I would recommend a better quality brush for the piping to get better coverage without leaving streaking caused by the cheaper brush. Definately wear old clothes!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cmmh This paint exceeded my expectations!
We just put up a used fence that we bought 2 years ago. The top-rails were rusted so I decided to paint them. I didn't do any sanding, and thankfully I didn't need to. The paint covered great, and they look brand new. Unfortunately, they looked so good that I had to paint the rest of the fence to match, but I had enough paint to do it.

I looked at either replacing the fence or painting. I had to paint the pipping either way which went good, I decided to paint the whole fence as the pipping painted so well. The coverage was more than the can had said! I had to put protection coverage over my legs and shoes as it was sloppy with the large nap roller!

The fence looks kinda new and shiny. If your fence has external rust it works great. Up close there's a lot of streaks. I tried a brush and the cheap foam one. Using a drill attachment for mixing helped.
