Customer Reviews

10 oz. Lens Tint Spray Paint (6-Pack) is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bus builder This product did not meet any expectations. The initial coat applied barely looks tinted. After about 6 coats it will start to look somewhat like the tint you would expect (like the color of the cap on the can) but depending on glass or plastic it might take up to 8. You use way more product and it is time consuming. If you don't take your time to apply multiple coats and spray too heavy , the product will run. We use many rustoleum products and love them. This one might be the exception.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stuff is great I bought this product unsure of the outcome, and unsure if I was even going to risk ruining my tail lights. I am happy I did buy this stuff is awesome. Very easy to use, and looks great if properly applied. I even applied a clear coat over this product so that it last longer, and gives off more shine. This stuff is so good looking that you would think I bought the lights. This is a cheap effective way to tint or black out your lights. You do need to be cautious of how many coats you apply because you can make your lights to dark, and then they will not be able to penetrate the paint. I did three light coats, and they look perfect. In between each coat I used 0000 extra fine steel wool wet, and a microfiber towel to dry them. When I applied the clear coat I did the same except did not use steel wool, but instead used 2000 grit wet sandpaper. I did the clear coat about 5 time, and on the last coat did not touch it with the sandpaper. My lights look great. However if using this a little word of advice google how to apply it first, and watch the videos it will help a lot. Things you will need for the job lens paint, clear coat, 0000 super fine steel wool, 2000 grit wet sandpaper, microfiber towels, painters tape, and extra shine wax. Cost me about 30 dollars for the whole project, but it is money well spent because my lights look like they cost me a lot more. Hope I helped whoever is thinking about doing it because I plan on doing it for every car I have or get in the future. Great Great GREAT product highly recommend it.
