Answer:
Yes I don't see why not. I painted my fireplace grate with it - the high heat product can withstand extreme heat and won't let off toxic fumes. People use it on grills grates as well.

Answer:
This paint is meant to be applied to metal. I expect that it will not hold up well applied to fire brick as it is not meant for direct exposure to flame which would be the case with fire brick.

Answer:
Hello Tony!
Thank you for your question!
High heat paint cannot withstand direct flame, so if this is a working fireplace that will have fire burning in it, I would not recommend painting it.
If this is not a working fireplace, you can use it if it is metal.
Also, be aware that adequate ventilation is important when spraying spray paint.
Have a great day!
Christine

Answer:
No, because the outside of your stove will not meet the required temperatures to fully cure. Instead, use Rust-Oleum Specialty Appliance Epoxy. This product is designed specifically for interior metal surfaces that do not come into direct contact with heat and is easily washable and moisture resistant.

I used this product for a steel fireplace firebox liner with success, so I expect it will also work on a stove.

12 oz. High Heat Enamel Flat Black Spray Paint (Case of 6) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal Heat Resistant Spray Used this spray for my new fire pit. The paint has not chipped and even protected the fire pit during the heavy rain. Checked it out days later and still looks like it did when I first sprayed it. I highly recommend this product for anyone using it on a product used outdoors and for extremely high heat applications.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Great! I used this product to paint an old freestanding fireplace stove, which was rusty and discolored. When I finished spraying it, I was afraid it looked streaky and uneven, but this effect disappeared when it dried. It turned out just great, like the original finish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good We applied 3 coats per the instructions and so far so good. Worried that brake dust might overshadow the color but that hasn't happened in the week since we applied it. Seems to be holding up to the heat that braking creates as promised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it says This high heat paint was used to protect my steel truck exhaust. All I needed to do was clean the exhaust and apply a couple coats of paint. It's held up very well so far. We'll see how it fits over the winter driven on salty roads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made my fireplace look amazing! I used this high heat paint to re-do my fireplace insert, which was brass colored. After using sandpaper to rough up the surface, I painted two coats and it looks SO much better. Went on easily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Hopefully my can was just defective. Kept leaking paint out the bottom of the nozzle. Shaking it then got paint all over my hand. Rustoleum is sending me a refund check.
