Building a house, I need a waterproof application for a few sheets of plywood, used to finish the underneath side of an upper level deck. I'm thinking something like bedliner would be bulletproof. I would fasten it with screws with neoprene washers.

Answer:
Sure Uri, as long as the Rust-Oleum Truck Bed Coating Spray is not subjected to temperatures over 200 degrees F, it’ll be just fine. If the area exceeds that temperature, the product will bubble or peel. If the temp is an issue, consider using Rust-Oleum Specialty High Heat.

15 oz. Truck Bed Coating Black Spray Paint (Case of 6) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope I sprayed multiple areas of my jeep with this stuff and I am really not happy with the quality. I sprayed my door sills, my door hinges and my windshield hold downs for my soft top. I followed instructions to a T. and even contacted Rust oleum a few times with questions (their customer service IS good, silver lining). The stuff is peeling off like no ones business - and not even under hard use. I have no idea how you could ever spray this in an actual truck bed and expect it to hold up. I am going to be forced to re-paint these areas and get some of them sprayed with another bed liner - very very disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product but it does not go very far I've used 12+ cans so far and probably need another 12 before I am done. I am using this as an alternative to standard black paint in a vehicle customization/restoration project. This is being used on bumpers, roof racks, interior trim, etc. Good stuff, requires a couple of coats to be effective BUT unfortunately a single can does NOT go very far. For a typical truck bed I am imagining you would need 20+ cans to create a surface that would last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for small items I used this product to coat my weights since I have my gym in my garage. I put two coats on the weights and It has held up very well after a few weeks of workouts. This would work well as a light coating for a truck bed but is not going to provide a thick coat like you would get having a professional do the liner. All in all this is a great product for a spray can.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Clogged cans. Bought a total of 7 cans of this for a project from 3 different stores over a month. 5 of the 7 cans were clogged and would not spray at all uncles violent shaken while spraying. Since they were mixed up wasn't sure which can was from where so couldn't honestly return any of them. I will stick with duplicolor from now on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Its an ok product, not as tough as it should be but what do you expect? The bed liner cover does ok until it starts to get empty then its a pain to get spray.Oil based paint might have worked just as good, the thing is its not tough enough unless you give it 2 weeks to dry out in the sun

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh.. So so They don't spray right. The only way to get most of the product out is to turn the can upside down. Threw away 2 mostly full cans before I figured out how to get the rest of the paint out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, durable paint! This paint is awesome. It goes on evenly and covered all the surface rust on my trailer. Even when I jack-knifed the trailer, the paint withstood the impact. Highly recommended!
