Customer Questions & Answers

Cure mildew around downspout?

I have a down spout that comes down on the sidewalk and over time mildew and turns black, so I would power wash to remove. Will this sealer cure that problem. Also i only want to seal that area and not the rest of the sidewalk, would you be able to see a difference in the sealed and unsealed concrete.
Asked by: Slam
Our 1 gal. Natural Sealer should prevent water from entering the concrete, and by sealing the pores of the concrete, it will make it more difficult for mildew to get a hold on the surface. This sealer is matte, and should not alter the appearance of the concrete.

Can I add color to the stain ?

Asked by: Leo
Happy to clear things up, Leo! Rust-Oleum Natural Concrete Sealer is recommended to be used without tinting. Adding tint can cause performance issues such as drying issues.
