I put this product on one month ago. Built a brand new garage, and while the concrete was new, I wanted to make it look nice and keep it nice. I will never buy this product again! I waited 3 months for the concrete to cure (without parking a car on it), followed all the directions, waited 9 days before parking a car on it, and I still had places where it peeled up from a car tire. And of course, there's no way to fix it now other than redo the whole thing. It cost enough the first time, there's no way I'll do it again. Personally, I'd rather look at a nice concrete floor with a stain on it here or there, than look at a painted floor that is not all painted because the junk peels off. Sorry. NEVER AGAIN!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by goodwork Works great
I did my garage 3 days ago.
first thing to know.. the kit will NOT cover 500 sqft. it will cover 250 very well. I used 3 kits for 670sqft and had half a gal left over.It is verry hard to see it when on fresh epoxy becuase it is CLEAR. I would recommend doing it at night when the sun is down because it is easier to see where to paint. I also have to buy another kit because I missed a few small spots.. It works as it should just dont expect it to cover 500 sq ft and do it at night without natural light and you should be able to see the clear.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AZsnowbird Good product except for the included anti-skid
I have just completed coating my garage floor and expect the finish to be superb once it cures (four days). Applying the stain is tricky...stain is so clear it's difficult to see where you've been.
My one complaint, and it's a big one, is the anti-skid provided. The granules are so heavy they sink immediately and no amount of stirring seems to help. I would recommend H&C Shark Grip; it is much lighter and remains suspended after stirring.

The best thing you can do is prep the floor its all about the prep. I recommend mixing all paint and activator in a 5 gallon bucket. This will give you the consistencey that others complained they did not get. When you go to throw down the flakes do so lightly if not you will be well short. Also its best to put a sealer over the epoxy. If you do this is when it is best to add the anti skid. after 4 days of drying you will not have any problems driving over the surface.

After using the 2 part epoxy and color chips I noticed I had thin spots and a different sheen from roller marks. (bad job on my part rolling it out) Waits 3 days to see if it would get better. It didn't. One coat of this premium gloss was the trick it even out everything. One nice glossy sheen no more roller marks...PERFECT! One gal. covered 480 Sq

I put the clear coat over the professional epoxy coat. Due to the short pot time (90 minutes) I thought I had to work quickly. I noticed that the roller tended to slide rather than roll like it did with the epoxy coat. I don't think I missed any spots but there were a few places that got no coating when it dried and I was able to walk on it. I think the roller just slid right over those places and since the floor (a cheap track house whose garage floor was probably nowhere near flat) it flew over the top of those spots. It goes on much faster than the epoxy and when I took the roller off I noticed it caused the roller to bind more than the epoxy and was eating the roller materiel and I had to throw the roller away (not a problem but it does indicate why the roller was binding).
The product seems fine but just a caution when putting on the clear coat because the short pot life may make you hurry and not see any missed spots.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by P38GI Color inconsistent
I bought two 2 1/2 car garage kits and a single garage kit to do my shop. The first 2 1/2 kit and single i put down matched in color. It was gray and went down well. After drying, roller marks are very visible. The second 2 1/2 garage kit i put down dried noticebly darker and glossier. These are identical kits bought at same time. Very disappointed in this product. I have previously used quickrete brand on my 30x40 shop with perfect color match and no roller marks. Unable to find quickrete was reason for using valspar. On this shop and previous shop was new concrete, cured per recommendations and prep is always the key when using. The quickrete held up very well to hobby shop work, parking vehicles and welding slag. Still to be determined on how well this holds up to shop use and vehicle parking. If using only one kit and being very conscience when rolling on floor this product is fair. Would NOT recommend if using more than one kit unless you don't mind different shades of gray and gloss.

Applied over newly coated tan rust-o-liem epoxy. Garage was less than 400Sq FT 1 kit did not cover the floor properly. Were floor was coated properly it looks great BUT 1/3 of floor looks horrible because it needed to be stretched to cover. Product info says it should cover 500 sq ft.
