Answer:
You'll need 3 kits for that size area...Smell is strongest at application: won't linger longer than 24 hours...I reccommend not driving on for at least the 4 days Rustoleum recommends;you can walk on the next day....I would definitely apply before moving in....

Answer:
You should allow the floor to cure for at least 30 days before you use this product -- longer if it has been rainy. You should etch the floor, even if it's new, for the best adhesion. The smell isn't terribly strong, but you should keep windows open.

Answer:
Zild,
To prep you are going to use a degreaser for the oil stains. If this doesn't work, the product "Pull it out!" is a product that works well on absorbed oil stains.
After that just clean the floors with a concrete cleaner. This will get rid of the dust.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Seems to be a very durable product There were much cheaper alternatives to paint our shop floor but I wanted to do the job right the first time so I choose Rust-Oleum. I'm happy with the color (tile red) and if the paint sticks to the floor as long as it does my hands it will last for decades. It's only been a few weeks but I have no regrets in paying more because it appears to be very durable. February 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best on the market!... I've tried multipal differant applications on concrete...Rustoleum is clearly the best product on the market....***just follow the directions! December 18, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Floor worth the work I just finished my floor this weekend and first off I want to say, order the Epoxy Shield 1 gal. Premium Clear Coating Kit when you order this product. It will pay off in the end. I have a 4 car garage and it took three kits of the professional (6gal) and 3 kits of the premium (3gal) (1100sq Feet). I have read a lot of reviews from many different sites that either sell this product and every one of them had some great application tips. I started out doing a lot of research before proceeding, it is important that you read all directions and technical information before choosing the right product for you. I went with this product because I am always a believer you pick the biggest hammer for the job. This is the higher of the lower end garage coatings. It is solvent based and there will be some strong orders involved with both products. Preparation -Preparation is the key. Clean floor thoroughly. If you have grease spots, rent a hot water pressure washer and or heavy degreaser for oily spots. I chose to etch with muriatic acid buy rubber boots, a disposable hand sprayer, and gloves. It will soak into your shoes even if they are water proof and make sure you flush your floor several times sweeping it away with a floor skwugy. Wear old clothing that you will throw away when you are finished. All materials will be disposed of when you are finished with this process but buy somewhat good brushes and rollers for the paint. You do not want to have fuze or lint in your finish when you are done. Have them shake all your paints, base and activators. You can go to your local hardware store and they can shake it for you along with getting plenty of stirring sticks for combining your 2 part kit once you are at home and ready to start. You will have a better consistency in your finish. Any inconsistency will be gone once you have applied your clear coat. There is a minimum time limit when you start painting. Follow it! Your paint will start setting up so I say, buy some extra paint cans and divide your kits into two cans as needed. It allows you plenty of time to do the job right. Save a little of both for touch ups when you are finished. You have a limited time to do this so follow the directions. One coat is ok for both items. Tape off areas you do not want over rolled. You will be in a hurry and this will save you time latter. Tear a small piece out of the sprinkle bag, do not put it in your hand and shake it out. You will get globs that way. In the bag has a better consistency to it. In the end, enjoy the new floor. It looks awesome and as good as any dealership floor. October 17, 2011
