Answer:
Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Garage Floor coating is designed for concrete surfaces only. We would not recommend using EpoxyShield coatings on wood surfaces. Epoxy coatings cure very stiff and rigid and do not allow for any flexibility. A wood surface is going to expand and contract and will be quite flexible, and the epoxy will not be able to flex with the wood causing it will crack and chip off.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Skeptical... but I'm a believer now! So after a TON of reading and research i purchased two of these kits do about 1330 sq feet feet of garage. I did an extensive floor prep. My concrete was about 3 months old, plastic underneath so I had no moisture problems. I etched the floor twice, i didn't feel i had it worked up enough so i rented a floor sander from ace. This helped alot and gave me a better piece of mind knowing it would adhere. I fallowed the instructions, VERY VERY important, let the product set up for 30-60 minutes. Applied the product, had a great adhesion, one coat. Finished it off with clear top coat. ROCK SOLID and looks amazing. August 29, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Two coats needed Instructions say only one coat. But I recommend two coats. July 29, 2014
