For your project to be successfull, you must be ready to do a good washing ,degreasing and etching of your garage floor. After that, follow instructions about temperatures and you will be fine. I was able to complete this project with no previous painting experience. Now my garage look very good.

I was hesitant in buying this product based on the various reviews. I spent 1 day cleaning the garage floor. I first swept and then vacuumed the cracks of all debris. Next I used Krud Kutter (product from Home Depot) and a hard bristle scrub brush to clean the entire garage floor. Once thoroughly scrubbed, I used our pressure washer to rinse. Day 2 I rinsed the garage floor with the garden hose to Etch. Once this process was thoroughly done, I squeegeed the floor and put 3 fans on to dry the floor. That evening, I did a few minor concrete patches. I continued to use the fans to dry the garage floor. Day 3 I rolled the Epoxy Shield and added the decorative paint chips. I again used 3 fans to dry the floor. After reading numerous articles, I found that adding a topcoat is best in preventing paint peel or hot tire pick up. I purchased the Rock-Solid Clear Topcoat from Home Depot. The Top Coat cost more than the Epoxy Shield Garage Floor Coating Kit ($149). It also states that the Top Coat will cover 200 - 250 sq. feet. My garage is 500 sq. feet. I found that I was able to use only 1 pouch to cover my entire garage floor. I waited 4 days for drying time. I have driven both cars on and off the garage floor after running errands into town and there is absolutely no paint peeling or hot tire pick up. All in all I invested $301.41. The key is to do a thorough scrub down of your garage floor and adding the topcoat. I highly recommend both products (2 GAL. 2-PART HIGH-GLOSS EPOXY GARAGE FLOOR COATING KIT AND ROCK-SOLID CLEAR TOPCOAT).

I followed the instructions to the T. I even waited a day and had fans running to dry the garage. But after a few months mine has started to peel and come off. I need to do it again but I don't want to waste the money unless I know why it peeled off. I know it works. I've helped friends to paint their garages.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Erreertt For those who can't etch or new concrete
Results will vary and if you can do the etch you really should.
But with new concrete and if water does not bead up you will be OK
This is a interior work room addition so I could not etch because I couldn't use a lot of water or hose due to my new drywall.
Drywall had just been mud and sanded so lots of junk on the floor. That's OK just clean it well. I used a trowel and just scrapped the blobs off the floor.
I swept well and mopped twice with a cheap 10$ mop and a water bucket. Dust was took care of and only slight traces where the blobs were.
Temp was 68° . I Let dry 4 hours after mopping.
And waited the proper induction time after mixing with this temp.
My concrete is not smooth flat, my beagle ran across my slab I noticed a couple hours later so we had to spray it down and try to level with a 2x4. You will see this in the photos. This is why it looks like it has lines in it . the epoxy covered it very well for the base slab condition.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Skip 2 part high gloss epoxy garage floor paint
Paint went on easier than expected. It is suppose to be high gloss but it isn't really glossy (medium gloss). I purchase the two gallon for a two and a half car garage. Ended up throwing 3/4 of a gallon away.
Floor looks good not great, kept paint wet as I rolled but you can still see were I started to roll again. Considering the price to have it done by a pro it is worth it.

Great product! It was very easy to use and very easy to apply. I have a 2 car garage and it was more than enough of paint and color chips.
Preparation is the key, the actual application is just like painting a wall.
- Make sure you have an even surface, this is just like paint so you will see through the imperfections.
- Don't be afraid of using a good amount of paint (don't be scared you will run out of paint). I was being a bit conservative and had some leftovers but my floor could have used a bit of a thicker layer of pain for the imperfections, still looks amazing.

This is very and simple to paint.
I will update review after 1 year to see how it looks like.
Now these are not in boxes. Instead coming in the bags (pouches). If you see any video, you will see containers.
One thing I have observed is need to clean/wash floor 1 day before only.

Went down fine but I used one gallon at a time. They dried slightly different colors and its noticable. If I had to do it over I would have mixed 2 gallons in a 5 gallon bucket and then started painting. For all I know it was in the dirrections somewhere but I missed it. I haven't parked my car on it yet so jury is out on stability. If it holds its great if it peels I'll be back!
