Answer:
We do not recommend applying stain over Rust-Oleum Concrete Patch and Repair Kit. This product is not porous and will not likely allow the stain to properly penetrate the surface.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product Simple and easy to use. Two part mixture is very easy to mix 2 parts to 1 ratio. Dries quick. December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good investment. Not tough to use, little waste, and seems to seal as desired. It is not always fun working with epoxies, but when you want the job done well, it may be the best path. The finished product looks good and there is no sign of peeling or failure to adhere. I would use this product again. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product filled cracks on cement patio looks great. we will see how this does through the winter September 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by epoxy for garage floor repairs Product mixes easily. It is very viscous, more so than joint compound for drywall, so you have to work hard at smoothing it out. It is very important that the hole or crack is just filled to the level desired and not much overfilled for the following reason: sanding (36-80 grit) is possible but is not easy, even with a good 1hp power sander. This epoxy is much, much harder than auto body compound to sand, which is probably a good thing, considering its use. A hole of size between a bb and a thumb can be filled effectively. A diamond grinder would be much more effective than sanding if the area is at all large. These grinders can be rented, but are big machines. September 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Garage floor crack fill I used 10 boxes and filled the cracks and all seams in my garage floor. I will be applying 2 coats of the Epoxy Shield and 1 coat of the clear coat. It's a lot of work getting the floor smooth. I did 7 hours of sanding with a belt and an orbatal sander. I still needed to remove more exvess so I used an angle grinder with 24 grit wheels. I wish I knew then what I know now about the application process. I still have some air bubbles but they are small and it's only a garage floor. It's kind of messy so wear rubber gloves, I'm glad I did. May 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product that worked well! We used this product to patch holes in our garage floor before we used Rustoleum's Epoxy Shield floor coating. This worked very well to patch the holes, some as big as plums. It smoothed out well and dried as fast as it was suppose to. I did the hole and crack repair in the evening and applied the epoxy floor coating the next morning. We had no problems at all with either product. I highly reccomend it to others! September 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wall patch Great product, easy application highly recommended February 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works as expected I used this in between the epoxy and the gloss. It worked fine. Filled in the cracks well. My advise don't do as I did, instead fill in the cracks before using the epoxy. I was not planning on filling in the cracks but then decided to do it right before applying the gloss coating. It looks fine and even took the specs i through down but it drys a darker color then the epoxy. September 22, 2014
