I love the color of this spray paint, but the finish was not uniform - it seemed to be a flat, maybe satin, finish, with small patches of gloss here and there.I shook the can for well above the recommended time so I know that wasn't it. Somewhat disappointed! Also, probably just the nature of spray paint, but I had to use 2 cans on a small file cabinet where 1 should have been more than sufficient.

Bought this paint to finish a project for a customer that wanted a grape color used. Was painting a wooden box that was built from pine and popular. Cut all wood and sanded it before painting. Used a tack cloth before spraying the paint on the wood. 1st coat covered the wood very well. I let the paint dry for about 18 hours which was more than the directions called for. I used an orbital sander with 220 grit paper and did a light sanding. I did the sanding because I was not use to using a spray can of paint so I had some runs and had missed some spots. After another wipe down with a tack cloth, I sprayed the wood again and this time I had much better results with covering and no runs. I used a large box as my spray booth and I was amazed that there was not a whole lot of overspray. Most all of the paint was on the project. I used a 400 grit and sanded by hand using a sanding block. Wiping it again with a tack cloth. I put a total of 6 coats of paint on the wood. Not because the paint wasn't covering but because I wanted a glass finish. After the 6th coat I was truly impressed with the results of the paint. I had a glass finish on the project and it was beautiful. I did not need polyurethane because the results were better than a poly finish. I was able to adjust the spray on the can so I could spray horizontal or vertical. After reading so many negative comments on spray can paint, I was truly impressed with the coverage and the finish. It did take me some time to learn the proper technique so I wouldn't get runs and get nice even coats. I think I am a spray can painter from now on.

Used several different colors to paint my outdoor pots. Wanted something in different colors so I decided to paint em instead of buying new. Paint is holding up well.
