Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Love this paint!
I love this paint! Bought this to repurpose my kitchen chandelier. This paint goes on smooth and covers well. I only had to do two coats on my brass chandelier to transform it to a beautiful oil-rubbed bronze. Fairly priced and goes far! Will be using this again!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kdd999 Matched the new doorknobs perfectly!!
I bought new doorknobs with oil rubbed finish, but i couldn't buy a matching backing plate/ handle to replace the ugly, pitted, old brass backing plate/handle. Out of desperation I used this, brushed on the old one. It looks perfect. Great texture, no brush strokes at all, and a tinge of bronze highlight just like the knobs (how do they make it do that?)
I'm extremely pleased. I hope it holds up in exterior use. The old brass finish didn't!
Now I'm looking for all the other yukky old brass stuff that I can paint with this. It covers all the bsd stuff with one coat. Worth every cent. I'd give it 10 stars.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dianasville Its a great product
I have fallen in love with this color and have painted many things with it. I couldnt get the spray so I bought the paint in the quart can. It is so much better! It has a better finish than the spray. I love it and will continue to use it on furniture, frames, old lamps, etc.

I used this to paint old shiny brass door knobs and hinges. Saved me alot of money by not replacing them. All it cost me was time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JudyG Best paint - and a great money saver
Bought this paint and have painted all of my old gold (brass) heat registers, expensive electric plate covers, some hinges and door knobs, brass towel bar in my powder room, frames, you name it - have to be careful and patient, let it dry completely before touching up or moving articles until completely dry - even painted the Kohler brass faucet in my powder room (saved at least $160) and everyone thinks it's a new faucet!. Bought some new doorknobs and hinges in oil rubbed bronze and they are a very close match. One can goes a long way.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Scott BEST PAINT EVER!
I've done a lot of painting over 56 years and I must say this is the BEST paint I've ever used. I generally HATE dealing with oil based paint and will do anything to avoid using it. However, this color was perfect for my exterior lights/mailbox/post and aluminum patio furniture. What's great about it is you can use this on vertical surfaces and it doesn't run. It sticks like glue. LOVE IT!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OldTechy V. Nice GLOSSY-Finish - does NOT match "Oil-Rubbed Bronze" Ceiling fans.
This is a high-quality, metallic-paint product.
As others have reviewed, it has a lot to like.
I wanted this paint to match the "oil-rubbed bronze" finish on a new ceiling fan.
This was only product on shelf with that "very specific color ( o-r-b ) " name.
Nowhere on the can is the paint sheen described (Is "metallic" a sheen?).
All other "Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra" products
list a "sheen" on the label; but NOT this color.
This paint sheen is HIGH-GLOSS ( e.g. Clear Coat) and not "Flat/Matte" as THD described.
This paint finish is quite dark so it's best features (glossy, metallic, bronze)
are only visible in direct lighting.
The "oil-rubbed bronze" finish on new ceiling fans is a very flat "sheen" with slightly more "copper" coloration and little (if any) metallic-sparkle.
This high-gloss, metallic paint is not an acceptable match to the finish of these new "o-r-b" ceiling fans.
imo: to match your ceiling fan's "o-r-b" finish, have the paint desk custom-mix a sample for you.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Fantastic
This is my new favorite paint of all time. The color is amazing and perfect for a bronze look. The color has plenty of sparkle and changes shades as you move around giving it lots of depth. It is a thin paint but covers as good or better than any other paint I have used. There never have been any brush marks visible once it has dried. The only drawback I have seen is because of it being thin it can run on smooth vertical surfaces if you are not careful. A little of it goes a long way. I used this on a three foot resin fountain that originally had a bronze finish. Once painted with this paint it looks much better than it did when it was new and could almost pass as real bronze. So far one coat has been sufficient on everything. To test it I painted one half of a piece of bare wood then put another coat over the whole board. You could not tell which end had two coats so to me that proved how good one coat does. It is as good as it gets.
