I have used numerous Rustolium products over the years always with very good results, so I was very surprised to find that this paint was such poor quality. I brought it home (75 miles) shook it, opened it stirred it and found that most of the can was one lumpy mess. I again stirred, stirred and stirred, but most lumps remained. I eventually found some old window screen and poured it through into another container. About half of the paint was unusable. I would have returned it, but I was committed to my project and could not make a 150 mile round trip. The portion that I used seems to be okay so far. Time will tell if it lasts as long as it should.
In summary: Stay away from these Rustolium latex products.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Phil Works on metal and wood WELL, plus even smooth plastic OK!
I have used this outdoors and indoors on metal, wood, and plastic for a few years now. It covers well often with only one coat, and takes a few years to crack out in the tough elements here in the Northwest. A quick touch up re-sealed the cracks. On my plastic it did not do as well but it was smooth and I did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised. If I had sanded the plastic surface first I bet it would be as good as the metal and wood. Indoors it is like any latex paint and will last for many years. Note that it says to brush it on! It self levels and starts to set up the gloss or semi gloss quickly so if you over brush you could leave brush marks. Rolling would probably do the same and leave a textured surface. I have not tried spraying it but spraying would probably work with adequate thinning because it is a thick brushing "Ultra Cover" consistency. If I were going to spray I would use their non water based paints instead. I like it - and have no connection to the company!
I have added a picture on Metal, wood, & plastic before retouching after a tough wet winter.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by dwasifar Hard to work with.
Thin and drippy, doesn't cover well, hard to work with. Open time is extremely short; you have about 30 seconds to smooth out your strokes before it starts skinning and dragging the brush. This forces you to paint fast, and makes drips almost impossible to avoid. Final finish is fragile and can be scratched away with a fingernail. I wish I'd bought something else. Definitely would not buy again. On the plus side, it's so insubstantial that it washes out of the brush almost immediately, so there's that at least.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Laura2928 This product is my go-to
I use this product for EVERYTHING! Because of its coverage of just about any surface, I have used this product with flawless results on furniture, vanities, doors, shutters, metal trim...you name it. I usually use satin, but this was all that was available the last time I went shopping for it - so I gave it a try. I absolutely love the sheen on my shutters and my interior doors and the added durability is perfect for my bathroom vanity. It's not an overpowering gloss but has a very nice sheen. It looks fantastic and is incredibly durable. I've never seen a chip or scratch and we are not particularly gentle with our home! I use Panter's Touch for everything that isn't a wall and I have never had a complaint. Best part - soap and water clean up. It also stays for a very long time if you wrap your wet brush in plastic wrap or a baggie - I've kept it for up to 2 weeks and used the brush with no problem when I picked back up on the job.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mancave Great latex paint
I painted some garage cabinet shelves with this paint and was very pleased with the results. Went on better and dried harder than some other name brands I used recently. Label says that rolling isn't recommended but I did anyway and it came out with a very consistent stippled surface which was what I was hoping for. Cleans up well like most latex paints.
