Customer Questions & Answers

what color should I use with navajo red deck cover paint I used it on deck and want to paint rail

Asked by: moon
If you are a looking for a different color to use on the rails besides navajo red for a two tone look then go with a lighter color like a beach or driftwood.

Customer Reviews

1 gal. Solid Acrylic Water Based Navajo Red Exterior Stain is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old brick looks new again... Before embarking on this project, I researched acid stains and solid acrylic stains. In my opinion, solid acrylic stain would be easier to apply with similar results. I would never use PAINT to resurface brick. Eventually it will weather and peel thus creating a real nightmare to repair. Acrylic stain is absorbed into the pores of the brick giving it a natural look. I took the painstaking process of using a paintbrush to stain each brick individually but the results were breathtaking. My bricks have been revitalized and look amazing. I would highly recommend this product to any homeowner who has the patience and painting skills to complete this project. You will not be disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chipped east Put stain on in April by June paint began to chip whenever anything rubbed up against it. Doesn't hold up as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great stain Stained house and barn 10 years ago and still holding good. Doing some touch up with it now but it is hard to find. I prefer the oil based original but that is long gone due to EPA. Solid color is perfect and covers over even painted wood. Used on fiber cement siding also works well.
