You've come to the right place! Rust-Oleum Restore 10X Advanced Deck and Concrete Resurfacer is suitable for use on broom swept concrete surfaces and not recommend for use on smooth or floated concrete. To help ensure proper adhesion we recommend cleaning the surface and priming the surface with a coat of Rust-Oleum Restore Deck Start Primer. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Restore-1-gal-Deck-Start-Wood-Primer-301233/206869729

How to remove from my deck

Joyce
Asked by: Joyce
Joyce, the 10x Advanced is an extremely durable coating, and removal is not an easy task. Sodium Hydroxide deck strippers can soften the acrylic resins in the coating, allowing it to be removed by either scraping or pressure washing. If you have any questions about removing the coating, please give us a call at 800-373-6333.

4 gal. 10X Advanced Forest Deck and Concrete Resurfacer is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Waste Your Money! This stuff sure sounded like a good idea for my patio. Was that ever wrong! It lasted less than 6 months before peeling off in big chunks. It also does not resist mildew at all--which is a bigger in a humid Florida climate. Unfortunately I did my entire patio in this stuff and wasted a ton of effort and money. The directions for application were followed to the letter and that made no difference. Get something else and skip this stuff!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't believe it works! My husband and I were about to tear down an old deck we inherited when we bought our new home. Rebuilding it would cost us a lot of money, 2300 is what we were quoted, but it looked so weather beaten that it made our backyard look abandoned. We had to do something! That's when we decided to go to Home Depot. My husband said, "Why don't we paint it until we have more money?" So I reluctantly went with him to the paint section with the hope of not finding anything that would help so that we could rebuild it. While we were looking, he found this paint. We bought a gallon to see if it would work. After pressure washing the deck and letting it dry we tried it on a small area of the deck. It was so thick we had a hard time mixing it. We spread it with a sponge and it covered all the cracks and unevenness of the wood! I looked great with only one coat! We will be going tomorrow to buy two five gallon pails and a paint roller to complete the job. Thanks Rustoleum! You saved us a lot of money and work!
