You've come to the right place, Dave! We recommend that you apply the Rust-Oleum Extreme Restore over a sound surface. Surfaces must be clean and free of dirt, grease, mildew and organic growth to ensure product bonding and adhesion. Sand or scrape any loose paint. Smooth or glossy surfaces should be sanded or deglossed before the application. You will then want to use a cleaner such as Restore Deck and Read More

Surfaces must be clean and free of dirt, grease, mildew and organic growth to ensure product bonding and adhesion. Sand or scrape any loose paint. Smooth or glossy surfaces should be sanded or deglossed before the application. You will then want to use a cleaner such as Restore Deck and Concrete Cleaner or TSP (tri-sodium phosphate). Once this is dry, you can apply two coats of the product. For 600 sq ft, you'll need approximately 24 gallons of product. Read Less

Answer: 
Yes, Restore Extreme Concrete Liquid Resurfacer can be used on broom swept or rough concrete patios and walkways. Remember to apply when ambient air and surface temperatures are between 50-90°F (10-32°C) and the relative humidity is less than 85%. Do not apply if rain is expected within 24 hours of application.
