4-gal. Porch Deck and Concrete 10X Resurfacer is rated 1.4 out of 5 by 59.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soooo Disappointed in this product!!!!!! So much time on prepping the old deck and followed the directions for cleaning. Applied first coat on completely dried deck, in the shade, 75 degree morning. Had to buy another 4 gallon bucket. Applied 2nd coat, day 2.. Another beautiful fall day in the Chicago area. Morning shade. We loved it. Looked great. Happy. Then winter came.... it looks horrible now...... I'm sickened and disappointed!! I busted my butt. Back pain from bending over preparing, rolling, and rolling again. Pain was worth the result, but the result did not last a year!! Rustoleum needs to refund my money and pay for someone to pressure wash this Restore flaking mess off my deck now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase Ever If properly applied on bare or prepared wood this is indestructible!!! We were going to replace our 10 x 25 swimming pool deck with composite lumber because we were sick of splinters and treating the wood. We used this two years ago! We spent way more time prepping the wood than painting and even thought the deck gets HEAVY kid and teenager abuse it still looks AMAZING! I have been using it on all my rental properties since. Love It!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After two years it's still like new. We used a cheap paint/stain on a seven year old deck and it didn't last one winter with our small dogs. we pressure washed it off and followed the directions on the bucket. It worked so well, I put it on the wood floor of my trailer, our hot tub steps and our garage entry steps. After two years, they are all holding strong. The trailer could have used new boards they were so badly worn and splintered and you can't tell by looking at them now. Note: our purchase came after seeing a friend's deck (and trailer) and how well they came out. Also we bought the 4x and did the rails of our deck last year and they still look like new. I don't know what others did to get bad results, but I know it's all about prep. I have seen this product on several applications and not one has a problem. All in Colorado where it's dry for the most part.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge waste of time and money!! Last year my husband and I redid our deck with Restore. It was a lot of work but we were pleased with the results. This year our deck is a complete disaster! The flooring product is peeling off in huge chunks and the paint/stain used on the railings is coming off in large flakes!! We expected this to last a few years and now are faced with the huge task of doing it over, less than one year later! I might add that we followed the instructions exactly and recently have met several other people that have had the same experience. I've tried contacting Rustoleum several but the "contact us" page on their web site doesn't work either!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product After taking the time to follow all of the directions on surface preparation we applied two coats of the x10 to the deck of our home.. it looked great for the rest of the summer. This spring I stepped out and found cracking, places where 6"x12" slabs of the paint was just sliding off. This was happening all over the three deck areas. I'm at a loss about what to do at this point. We are getting the house ready to sell in April and the weather (temperature) won't be warm enough to re-coat with this product. This leaves only one option and that is full removal from all of the deck surfaces as well as the deck railing. If you live in a cold climate like we do, think twice and then thrice about using this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst paint product I have ever used. I used restore for my deck. The deck was stripped of all stain prior to application and was well prepared. Applied two coats and it looked great at first. It has been less then a year and large flakes are peeling off. The only place it seems to be doing well are on the boards I replaced because they were warped. So if your deck is new this might work for you, but if it is older with a few cracks do not use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge waste of time & money I put this on my deck last summer (2013). First off it took a lot more to do my deck than they told me I would need. Almost 3 times more for good coverage. I followed the directions and used the special roller, etc. This spring it looks horrible. My father used it also on his deck and his chipped off horribly over the winter. Probably 50% of his deck chipped off. I thought mine came through a lot better but it really didn't. Probably 30% chipped off my deck and it is still chipping. I spent a lot of money on this stuff and it really stinks. I won't try another deck restoration product. It will be cheaper in the end to just replace the decking.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Deck Covering Had a professional painter clean, prep the deck according to the directions and apply the deck covering to a porch and composite pool deck. I thought that this would be great. WRONG. The porch deck started peeling and crumbling within two months. The pool deck look OK, right after it was painted with Restore the pool was closed up.In the spring the pool deck was just like the porch deck. Peeling and all crumbly. What did adhere, we had to grind off.For the amount of money spent and time I would not recommend this product. I called Rust-Oleum, sent in pictures, and within 2 weeks had refunded what I had spent on the deck covering.
