Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Product ever made... This product in very difficult to put on, also it will mildew, I purchased 12 gallons, and the next year it had major mildew problems and discolor. Company gave me 6 gallons free to go back over. I did and next year, it was discolored, with some mildew, after 2 days of cleaning it was OK. This year it was a brown tint and would not clean up. Used power washer to clean and it knocked off the 3rd coat and was good underneath, however, it also knocked some of the first two coats off. Now I am going to power wash every bit of it, and buy something that works. I am out already over $1,000 and will probably spend an additional $500 to DO IT RIGHT, WITH A GOOD PRODUCT. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT July 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Soooo Disappointed in this product!!!!!! So much time on prepping the old deck and followed the directions for cleaning. Applied first coat on completely dried deck, in the shade, 75 degree morning. Had to buy another 4 gallon bucket. Applied 2nd coat, day 2.. Another beautiful fall day in the Chicago area. Morning shade. We loved it. Looked great. Happy. Then winter came.... it looks horrible now...... I'm sickened and disappointed!! I busted my butt. Back pain from bending over preparing, rolling, and rolling again. Pain was worth the result, but the result did not last a year!! Rustoleum needs to refund my money and pay for someone to pressure wash this Restore flaking mess off my deck now! May 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible product After taking the time to follow all of the directions on surface preparation we applied two coats of the x10 to the deck of our home.. it looked great for the rest of the summer. This spring I stepped out and found cracking, places where 6"x12" slabs of the paint was just sliding off. This was happening all over the three deck areas. I'm at a loss about what to do at this point. We are getting the house ready to sell in April and the weather (temperature) won't be warm enough to re-coat with this product. This leaves only one option and that is full removal from all of the deck surfaces as well as the deck railing. If you live in a cold climate like we do, think twice and then thrice about using this product. March 25, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great and Terrible Great - we added a new deck on our place in northern Michigan and stained it with the 10x. 3 years later it still looked like new. We decided to use it on our 10 year old deck at home. I power washed the deck, used the recommended deck cleaner. The Terrible- it looked good the 1st summer but the next spring it peeled off in large pieces. I would recommend it on new un-stained wood, but will never use it again on a deck that has been stained . July 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible product looked great the first summer, after snow melted it started cracking and bubbling. It's a mess now big areas of deck totally bare others still have product on and needs to be scraped power washed and it will make a mes in my yard July 31, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor adhesion just one year, most of this is coming off! I followed the instructions explicitly, I degreased I made sure it was clean and dry.. I applied this to concrete steps.. in just one year it's all flaking off.. the problem now is it's a real mess.. I'm sure that not all of it will come off so I'll have some most peeling this year, then some the next, I might have to sand blast it off to fully purge this stuff from the concrete.. June 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do Not Buy - Looks good Initially but after a year it is a total nightmare I am very disappointed in this product. It has not even been 2 years and this is what my deck looks like - peeling, bubbling. We painted over 1k sq. ft. Our deck is ruined. This is supposed to be the stuff that lasts 10 yrs. I have filed a complaint with Rustoleum... lets see if they stand by their guarantee and fix my deck. In the mean time, I do not recommend this product at all. Very Disappointing!! May 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Save your money Hasn't even been on the deck for a full year, and it is peeling terribly. As it is around our pool, we have to scrape off what we can to keep it from getting into the water. Would not recommend this to anyone. May 25, 2015
