Oh yeah.....have it mixed in the paint department to suspend the sand evenly in the bucket from sitting as the sand settles. This key to getting a good consistent finish.

How does this hold up on a deck that has snow on it for 6-7 months a year.

I live in Alaska and am worried about it coming off in chunks after the winter.

My experience has been good but I like to sweep the snow off as best I can. If the surface it is applied to is not sanded and prepped well enough for it to bite into the surface it will bubble and lift from prolonged moisture exposure.

If a 4 gallon can covers 100 sq ft., does that mean two coats of 100 sq ft.

I have approximately 400 sq ft to cover. Do I need 4 of these 4 gallon cans or 8 to get two coats of coverage.

I used every bit of 8 gallons to do a 6' x 28' porch floor. The difficult part is mixing it all together for consistent color on large surfaces...a cheap mud pan will work great with a roller. A lot of it all has to do with weather and how much you press into the roller for application. Furthermore, use the roller designed for this stuff and nothing else and have the paint department mix it up in the shaker for you before you leave the store so the sand is thoroughly mixed and suspended in the mix.
