I did extensive research before redoing my deck. The reivews on this looked good. The only issue seemed to be its difficulty in applying.
to prep our deck, we power washed, then scraped then sanded loose areas then power washed again. It wasn't too bad to apply. That was Sept 2013.
After the winter , the deck is peeling, cracking and chipping. it looks horrible. My research shows MANY similar issues. This product is horrible. Clearly, they have a quality problem. That's likely why customer service hasn't responded to my inquiries.
it is getting worse daily

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Debbie Peels after 4-5 months!
We were excited about this product. Took before and after pics that looked awesome. Did the pre-wash as instructed. Took 2 weekends [pre wash one weekend - application second weekend to make sure it was fully dry] About 4-5 months after we completed the project - the stuff started peeling up. This deck does not get much use either - so it's not like there was a lot of furniture scraping across the surface...

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MWARD WE would have never did it if they didnt tell us to
We called restore and talked with them and they told us we could apply their product over another product and told them exactly what it was. We ask them if we could seal their product and they said just use any old water based sealer.
This was not a good product to go over other products.
This was not a good product to be sealed.
It is cracking and bubbling everywhere. The sealer changed the color.
The support staff completely misguided us.

All looks lovely; love the color; however, the least little movement of anything removes the Restore color. I will spend the rest of my life

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bass VERY disappointed
I researched this stuff before I bought it. I followed the instructions to the letter: I washed with the Restore wash, I sanded the parts that needed sanding, I applied it between the optimal temps, I let it dry between coats, I let it dry the specified amount of time before walking on it or placing furniture on it. At first it was perfect! It was a great finish and the best color. Now, less than 3 months later, it is cracking and bubbling and peeling up. This stuff isn't cheap and our deck isn't small. I feel like I threw away time and money with this product!!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Festus452 Don't buy this, only good for a few weeks
This product applied per instructions, pressure washed first, two coats... Looked great for the first couple weeks, without any traffic on deck the product chipped up upon first freeze. Worthless stuff now the deck needs replaced rather than repainted.

Do not hesitate on buying this! We read all reviews prior to purchasing and were hesitant to try. If you read instructions and apply as directed, you will have no problems.
Our deck is 10x25 and we used 2 - 4 gal. buckets & 1 gal. matching stain for two coats. We decided to keep the surface rough as it wasn't as rough as some reviews stated. We used 2 rollers, but one would of been ok. The thickness is about the same as tile grout. We did need to paint with a brush between the 3/4" cracks as it did not drip between like we thought it may.
Extremely pleased with the results of the product.
Color is Fieldstone.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Crusher711 It does what it says it will do
I recently purchased my home and there was a large existing deck that was 10 years old. I had considered replacing the deck boards and then saw the Rustoleum deck restore advertised, so I thought I would give it a try. It filled the cracks in the wood and put a nice thick coat on the wood making it look like a new deck. Application was easy with roller and an extension pole.
