Will this product work on Fiberglass Golf Cart repairs

Asked by: James
I would stay away from this horrible paint and just use the appliance paint in a spray can. Much easier, less smelly, less dry time and cheaper on the wallet. And the colors match the proposed color. Almond is not suppose to look green.

Mixed both cans together, painted the first coat on the floor, waited about 70 minutes and painted the second coat. Turned out more split pea soup green than almond. Let it go for 3 days to fully set up, finished the bathroom after that and ended up with many chips in the paint. I used the white version of this paint for the shower stall and it was a complete waste of money and time and this paint makes your whole house stink so bad for so long. Just use the appliance paint, I used that to cover up the white mess and it works 100 times better and stinks much much less. Both white and "almond" paint dry in the cans as the 1st coat dries where you apply it and makes the finished look much worse than the already horrible first coat.

I am in the process of re-doing one of my bathrooms and the tub and tile were the first step. I decided to try this product to avoid spending a lot of money of having the tube and tile painted professionally. For me the product worked great. However, it turned out to have a green tint to the color. I love the green color it turned out as, but it was definitely wasn't what i was expecting. If you are shooting for an off white color, you probably shouldn't get this. The biscuit color may turn out better, and I have read good reviews on the white. I have some images of the tile before and after.

The product went on pretty good and left a nice finish but it did not cover very well my tub is still green and not almond. Also the first time i did it i put a primer on first and the paint had a bad reaction with thew primer and it all blistered so i had to remove it all and start all over so i had to buy 2 kits which double my cost and i still have a green tub, no i am not real happy with the product.

It change a pink tiled bathroom with a pink and beige shower insert into an almond dream. My daughter bough her first house and this made for a great makeover! The only thing is make sure you ventilate and we suggest not staying in the house for 3 days to let the fumes dissipate.

I saw some possible issues. May have been used improperly. I saw also that Rust-oleum replied to help. But I USED IT ON MY TILE WALLS AND FLOORS. SO FAR SO GOOD. I work with colors all the time and the Almond is definitely a pale green. Works for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rust-Oleum Almond Tub and Tile Refinishing Kit Decent price.. Good instructions.. Applies easily.. Total waste of money, time and effort because it turns an off-color greenish after two weeks. if you like your tub or shower to look like a swampy pool this is the product.. Had to sand it down and used the WHITE Rust-Oleum Tub and Tile SPRAY paint..

It had a greenish tint to it. It was very easy to use and I'd use the product again. The odor was not unbearable nor did it cause a headache which many products do.

The product worked as advertised but the color was not "Almond", it had more of a greyish green tint to it. Since I used it to coat an evaporative cooler, I wasn't bothered by the color, but I wouldn't want it for a bathtub color.
